I forgot to check the door

My house has the doors where the doorknob will turn on one side as if we’re unl but on the other side of that door it is locked and will not turn. So one day after my shower I dried off and walked my way to the laundry room to put my towel in a dirty clothes bin while texting a friend what I should eat. When I walked out of the laundry room I decided to check freezer in the garage and the garage doors always shut so no one could see me, so I just walked out of the house and into the garage . After checking the freezer, I went to go in the house again and the doorknob wouldn’t turn and my heart stopped. I had locked myself out and had nothing to cover up with. Also it was freezing in the garage because it was November, it was probably like 40 degrees. I didn’t have a spare key or anything hidden in the garage because the neighbors had always let me in if I had locked myself out.
