Chapter 7 by TMJ2008 TMJ2008

To drink and risk dark magic infecting you or not to drink and continue to suffer with your thirst? What do you decide?

I cannot stand the thirst any longer! I must drink!

Your body's desire for water overpowers your mind's fear of dark magic and you find yourself dashing over to the edge of the spring before you even realized you had made the decision to do so. You rush to the spring and fall to your knees at the edge of it. You reach down with your bare left hand and cup it to gather water in it. The water is cool against your skin and, as you bring the water up to your lips and drink it down, it tastes crisp and clean upon your tongue. That first drink of water is heavenly and so are the second and third and beyond as you begin to gulp down water, laying down on your belly at the edge of the spring so that you can scoop the water directly into your mouth.

It is not until the pangs of thirst have disappeared and your face and chest are wet with your enthusiastic drinking that you finally pause in your scooping water into your mouth. You pause and heave a sigh of relief as you relax at the edge of the spring, looking down at the water's surface. Your reflection looks back at you and you realize you look different somehow. You don't know exactly what it is but something is different. Your hair perhaps? It has grown a bit, getting a bit shaggy since you set off from home, but that's not it. Is it in your visage, some scar that wasn't there before marring your face? No, that wasn't it either. Your eyes then?

You look deeply into your own eyes, looking into the clear blue depths of them...and then you remember that your eyes are green.

That is when you realize that you are not looking into your eyes but somebody else's and you scramble back from the edge of the spring as that individual breaks the surface of the water with a musically feminine giggle. You fall to a seated position as you look on with wide-eyes as the person that had been under the water lifts themselves up onto the edge of the spring with inhuman grace. And perhaps that is the only way to describe that grace as the "person" in question wasn't exactly human at all, you realize as you take in her appearance.

A woman, it would seem. A beautiful woman with full feminine curves and smooth, flawless skin. That skin is very pale with a touch of blue tinting the silken surface. That same blue is what touches the long, shining hair that falls down to the woman's hips in cerulean waves that remind you of the surface of a lake. That hair is tucked behind ears that are tapered like an elf's except that there are multiple points and the ears thin at the edges, making them look more like the fins of a fish than ears. The woman's eyes are a clear, glacial blue, like the very deepest waters of the sea, and those eyes are set into a beautiful and exquisitely featured face.

A vision of loveliness. A very naked vision of loveliness, you realize as your eyes fall upon the generous swells of her breasts, each lovely mound tipped with a rigid nipple colored the same cerulean blue as her hair. You gulp and look away, but you end up looking down and between her thighs to her hairless mound and the hint of her womanhood lower still. You flush deeply at the sight, both in shy embarrassment and arousal, before you slap your bare hand over your eyes.

"I-I-I'm sorry! I did not mean to intrude!", you call out, already knowing how foolish it is to apologize to somebody who very clearly isn't human. In fact, you already know what she is. A naiad. A water nymph. You know this...but you don't know how. You were no expert of mystical creatures so you do not think you should know such a thing instantly and yet...yet you did. Why, you wonder for a moment, but you aren't given much time to wonder as the naiad speaks.

"Oh-ho? A gentleman as well as handsome? How wonderful a guest to have visit.", she says, her voice lyrical and lovely as it reaches your ears, "Now, now, dear one. No need to be shy. I have not had a visitor in so very long. I have been so lonely. So very lonely. Please, look upon me. Come to me."

"I-if you would not mind, my lady, I would rather not intrude or interrupt. I...I shall be on my way, if it pleases you.", you say and start to try and stand up, but you feel a cool hand press against your shoulder before you can. A soft and gentle touch, but it keeps you from being able to stand as another hand moves to grasp your own over your eyes and pry it away from your face so you must see what is before you.

The naiad is face to face with you and you find her even more lovely in such close proximity, her lips, also blue, looking soft and supple and her skin and eyes glittering like the surface of a clear lake. You breathe in her scent and it is the clean, clear scent of fresh water touched with aquatic flowers. Instantly, you feel a curl of heat deep in your chest and lower still as, despite your shyness and fear, arousal grabs hold of you.

"You would leave a lady by herself? After she has invited you to stay and keep her company so politely? Those are poor manners. Especially after you drank from my spring without my permission so freely.", she states, her breath warm upon your skin as she leans in closer to you, "Surely, you would not deny me a little company in order to compensate me for your satisfying your thirst with my water? Would you, dear, handsome boy?"

Your mind is starting to feel hazed and your will is waning as you feel your resolve to deny the naiad's invitation shake. You know, somewhere deep inside, that this is a result of her magic, a nymph's magical ability to seduce mortals into their embrace at work on you right now. You know this and you know you should resist...but can you bring yourself to do so?

Can you resist the Naiad beauty before you? Do you even want to?
