I've vanished... This is N.G. Player's time on Rokkenjima (Tag required)

The whole point of writing a story like my predecessor's is so that other people can read along too, right? That means nosy Readers like you coming in and out without even taking off their shoes. I suppose as a gracious host, I should invite you in and lead you around by the hand like the first Player did, but frankly, having you here is seriously creepy. That guy offered you up all kinds of masturbatory stories, but now that I'm the one doing it... I won't say I respect him, but I understand that opening up that extent takes a special kind of person.

I don't have any pedigree as a writer, but I can't stop you from reading along if you still want to.

Oh, that's right... what did that guy always say... Greetings. I am N.G. Player. I'm a woman of love now... That's so embarrassing.

My predecessor was always coming up with sneaky ways to enter the island. At first, I didn't understand that... wouldn't you want to arrive on the same boat as the Ushiromiya family and fully enjoy your time chatting with them? I thought maybe he was just impatient and didn't want to redo that same part over and over again. Now I realize... it's difficult to show your face in a gathering like that, when everyone is family but you. You'll end up as a wall-flower who gets excluded when everyone's having fun, then gets focused on like a lifeline whenever the conversation turns ugly. You only get the table-scraps, in other words. It's easier to avoid that mess altogether.

Plus... there are certain people I can't introduce myself to. Not yet.

I'm not going to join the witch's side either, of course. I'm a witch in this story- call me the Witch of Love- but there are some lines I won't cross. For the purpose of this game, consider that other witch, that old man butler, and that old lady tutor of hers, my enemies, along with Gap Gap. The Stakes are my furniture, so don't worry about them.

I'm the type who likes the path of least resistance, so I'll start with a tried and true method. Let's say I'm a folklorist. I came here to Rokkenjima by myself, with no assistant. I'm here to study the secrets and legends of Rokkenjima... and maybe investigate the circumstances surrounding the mysterious Ushiromiya family on the side.

... I can tell what you're thinking. You're wondering if this story is going to be like Player's, aren't you? To that end, you're wondering if I'm trying to fuck everyone on Rokkenjima, the Ushiromiyas and the rest? There may be some among you who are thinking that's pretty problematic for various reasons. Let me assure you, it's all about granting everyone else happiness. This story isn't about my happiness at all. I'm really nothing like that other Player.

You asking me for a Red Truth confirmation like that right now is annoying, so I'm not going to answer you. I did bring that Pink Pistol but... I'm seriously creeped out at the thought of using it. It's only got one bullet left in it from when Player gave it to me. If you're going to keep worming your way through my diary, you're bound to see it at some point or another.

Fine. I was just about to do that anyway. So... I'm a folklorist on Rokkenjima. An outsider. Right now the family conference is going on... That means that Krauss, Eva, Rudolf, Rosa, Doctor Nanjo, and two servants are locked up in the conference room. There should be someone hanging about the kitchen, preparing to serve light snacks to those attending the conference... I'm going to guess Godha at least. Kumasawa led the other cousins over to the guest house, where Shannon and Kanon are waiting. That leaves just Kinzo and Genji unaccounted for. In other words, we know more or less what we're in for, wherever we go.
