Jade had quite a head for code and could sometime help me break through a nasty roadblock on a project. We had met in an advanced programming class our senior year but hadn't connected much until we were rivals for a contract a few years back. Things went well, and we ended up convincing the client to give us the contract as a team. Which worked. Until she stabbed me in the back right before everything was finished. She had excuses and justifications, but I think it was pettiness, since I had ended up hooking up with a girl at the company that Jade had her eye on. But what could I do? The girl had approached me and we clicked. But she never called me back after that night. Whatever. In any case, it only took a few minutes for Jade to reply.
Kinda busy with my own stuff right now.
That sucked. But maybe I could persuade her?
