Hypno and Pikachu Battle!

Hypno beamed, happy with himself that he was aiding Ashley. She was steadily acting like her old self again. Hypno had just put his pendant down when he saw a flash. Quickly, he hopped to his side, just barely avoiding getting struck by an arch of electricity. Before he could recover his balance, he was struck by a yellow blur. Hypno landed on his back, his pendant flinging from his hand, while he felt a sudden weight on his chest. Pikachu hovered over Hypno, cheeks sparking. Hypno struggled to get free while Pikachu demanded to know what he did to Ash.

"Pikachu, Stop!" Ash called, drawing Pikachu's attention.

Hypno saw his chance and used Headbutt on the distracted electric mouse. Pikachu fell back, caught off-guard, and Hypno stumbled toward his pendant. After a quick head shake, Pikachu took after Hypno with Agility.

Ash tried his best to leap after Pikachu before this fight got any worse, but the only thing he caught was a face and front full of mud as Pikachu slipped right past his fingers.

Pikachu was almost ready for another Quick Attack when Hypno made a **** use of Disable. With his Agility suddenly disabled, Pikachu lost his footing and slid in the mud, slipping a few times before getting enough traction to chase after Hypno again. Just as Hypno grabbed his pendant he was struck by a Thunderbolt. Disoriented, he mad a wild blast with a Psybeam which Pikachu dodged. Hypno tried to set off a Confusion attack, but Pikachu shook it off. Hypno tried another Psybeam but Pikachu Slam attacked him before he could fire it. Pikachu was just about to make another Slam when Ash was finally able to grapple his pokemon.

"What has gotten into you?" Ash asked fighting the squirming Pokemon.
