Hurry downstairs

I decide not to test anyones patience any more than I already have. I have gym class first period so I figure I can just shower after class and save some time on my commute. I put my gym clothes on and grab my backpack and throw a spare change of clothes in it. I head downstairs and meet my stepmother and my stepsisters Jessica and Sarah. My two stepsisters are identical twins, only really recognizable from each other by their hair. While Sarah kept her golden blonde hair, Jessica dyed it blue.

“About time” said Jessica “You were going to make us late.”

“Yeah, we were about to come and grab you and make you go to school before you could get dressed.” Chimed in Sarah.

“Very funny, you know that would never be allowed to happen.” I said “Now come on, let’s go to school before we’re late.”

The three of us make our way to school. St. Cecilia high school is an all girls high school where I am the only boy in attendance. I was only able to get in since my stepsisters both already went to the school and my parents didn’t want to have to have us go to different schools.

As we walk there my sisters ask why I am wearing my gym clothes and I tell them I have gym first period so I was planning on showering after and changing my clothes then. They both share a devious look towards each other and I decide to ignore it, figuring they just thought I was being g a weird kid. We arrive inside just as everyone is making their way to their first class. I go to my locker to drop off my books however my sisters grab my backpack and throw it in my locker before closing it and shoving me in the back.

“You don’t have time for that.” Says Sarah “The gym is on the other side of the school and you’re going to be late if you don’t hurry.”

“Yeah you don’t want the school calling mom when you’re tardy again do you?” Jessica says. “She won’t be too happy to hear you made us late again.”

As much as I wanted my spare clothes for after gym class I knew they were right. Plus I had a study period after gym so I could just come back to my locker and grab my clothes without having to worry about being late to my next class. I ran off to the gym and made it just as the bell rang.
