Hunting the Gods
After the Trojans killed Hephaestus and armed themselves from his storehouses, they left Thetis.
Now they had to make a plan to confront the other gods.
Even with these weapons, they could not conquer Olympus and destroy Poseidon and Zeus. In addition, the powerful sons of Zeus, Ares and Hercules, prevented them. So Briseis began to explain to them. She said that the trolls who were the guardians of the island and Hephaestus had gone to Olympus. Soon the Olympians would learn of Hephaestus' ****. The first to come here would be Poseidon, the god of the seas, who was close by, and the second would be Ares, the god of war and the guardian and commander of Olympus.
To kill Poseidon, we must enlist the help of the Kraken, a monster so powerful and large that it could destroy the god of the seas. Paris asked, but how to wake the Kraken.
Then Briseis showed him a trumpet and said that it was an ancient treasure that Poseidon had once left in his temple in Troy. If you blow it, you can summon the Kraken.
And Briseis explained about Ares and said that to kill him they would need Paris's shooting skills.
So they did as Briseis explained.
Paris waited on the shore. Suddenly a flood came and Poseidon came out of the water and stood on the shore. Paris immediately blew the trumpet. Poseidon, who knew the sound of the trumpet, was first surprised and then afraid. Suddenly a terrible sound came from the sea and a huge and terrifying monster emerged from the water. Poseidon tried to fight it but failed and the Kraken swallowed him. Paris blew the trumpet again, the Kraken calmed down and returned to the depths of the sea.
Paris took his bow and quickly went to the place he had prepared for himself, hid and waited for Ares to come.
Minutes later, a voice came from the sky and Ares landed on the ground in front of Hephaestus' workshop with a huge light.
He was about to go inside when a voice stopped him, Ares said, "Who are you? Where is Hephaestus?"
Andromache came out of the workshop holding his sword in his right hand and Hephaestus' head in his left hand.
Ares said in anger and surprise, "A mortal woman, how and with what audacity have you committed such a crime?"
Andromache said with the same audacity that I will cut off your head now and pointed her sword at Ares.
Ares said proudly, "Okay, now I will show you real combat, whore." He wanted to attack when an arrow hit him from behind. Surely, one arrow, even if it was made by Hephaestus, could not kill Ares. So he wanted to go back and see who had thrown the arrow. Paris shot him with a second arrow.
Briseis came in from another direction with a dagger and distracted him. This distraction caused Paris to shoot another arrow into his heart and kill Ares.
Now the other two gods were dead.
Briseis said that Olympus is now mourning and Zeus will leave. Right now, we do not have the strength to fight Zeus, so we must come up with more plans.
Andromache said, "How about we go to Athens and untie Hercules."
But Paris said no. It is better to make the gods enemies with each other. We cannot defeat Zeus even if we kill Hercules, so it is better to use the power of the gods against them.
Briseis said that it is true that the gods must destroy Zeus.
Andromache said, but how can we make them enemies with each other?
Paris said, you go to Athens and try to meet Hercules and give him this bow as a gift.
I will also take advantage of Zeus' absence and go to Olympus and tell Hera that Hercules is the murderer of her sons Hephaestus and Ares.
Andromache agreed and Briseis said that you should try to meet one of the goddesses in Olympus and if you can drink their milk, then you will gain godlike power.
So the group separated and each went to their own mission.
