Hunting Party

Selina Kyle stared out the window of Gwen's apartment living room, which overlooked an alley. The alley was quiet right now -- a stark contrast to the chaos taking place throughout most of New York City, where heroes and villains alike were being hunted by Kraven and Cheetah. Usually in a situation like this, Selina would be using the bedlam to her advantage as a thief; right now, though, all she could think of was the health of her thieving partner and lover, Felicia Hardy.

"Good news, Selina; I was right about the type of poison Kraven used. I've given Felicia an antidote, and she should recover pretty quickly," said Gwen.

"Thank you, Gwen. I... I appreciate it," Selina said back, breathing a sigh of relief. Her feelings for Felicia were deeper than she was willing to admit, so hearing that her partner was going to be OK felt like a huge weight off her shoulders.

"No need to thank me -- Felicia and I go way back. We have a rather... unique friendship," Gwen told Selina. "She loves being chased around, doesn't she?"

Selina chuckled at Gwen's comment, her worries now gone. "That's only one of the many, many things we have in common, Spider."

"I'll bet," Gwen chuckled back. "The outfits, the claws, the whole cat motif... I'm sure you have plenty of common interests."

"That we do. But now I'm a little curious about you, Spider. Do you think we share any... common interests?"

"Probably not -- thieving isn't my thing," said Gwen.

Selina chuckled again, amused at Gwen's oblivious answer. "I can see why Felicia has so much fun with you. You're cute."

"Uhhhhh... thanks?" Gwen answered, confused for a moment before it finally hit her what Selina meant by common interests. "Dear god, you really are another Felicia. There's two of them now," she quipped, smirking.

"You've got it backwards, sweetie. Felicia's another Selina Kyle, not the other way around," Selina smirked. "But I do get your point... and I'm really looking forward to our first chase."

*Uh-oh*, Gwen thought. *Black Cat's enough of a tease. Adding Catwoman to the mix? That sounds... kind of exciting, actually. Still, she doesn't need to know that.* "I, uh, I don't know if I like the direction this conversation is going..."

"Come on, hon. You know it'll be fun. Maybe someday you'll even catch us... I just wonder if you'll know what to do with us when you do."

"Oh! Uh, I'm sorry," Cassie said as she walked in on Felicia sitting up in Gwen's bed. She happened not to be wearing any clothes at that moment, meaning Cassie got a full view of the thief's magnificent body. Cassie felt her pussy twitch at the sight as she tried (and failed) to avert her gaze.

"Relax, honey. It's nothing you haven't seen before," Felicia smirked.

"Uh, O-OK. I-I can leave until you're dressed," Cassie stammered. *Why am I embarrassed here? She's the naked one,* she thought.

"No need for that. In fact, I'd prefer it if you stayed," Felicia said, clearly amused by the flustered Cassie. "Besides, we haven't actually been introduced. Felicia Hardy, at your service."

Cassie was sure her face was as red as a tomato, but she decided to try and regain some composure and continue the conversation. "C-Cassie Sandsmark. Uh, Gwen's told me a lot about you."

"Has she now? Well, I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised. Gwennie's been chasing me around for years."

"...So I've heard," Cassie said, still unsure where to focus her gaze. "Apparently you're quite the master thief."

Felicia smiled widely, flattered by the comment. "Did Gwen really say that about me? I'm touched. Speaking of my dear, sweet Spider, what's your story with her?"

"She, uh, she's my girlfriend," Cassie answered honestly.

Felicia's grin became a little more devious after hearing that. *So Gwen really is into girls? That is good to know,* she thought. "Oooooh, So my Gwennie finally got herself a girlfriend, huh? I must say, I'm impressed. You're a cutie, Cassie Sandsmark."

Cassie froze momentarily. Charging into battle against gods? Not a problem for her. Gorgeous, mysterious woman flirting with her in the nude? Still needed some practice with that. "This... this isn't going to be some sort of problem, is it?" Cassie asked.

"Not at all, sweetie. If anything, you and my Spider being a couple makes things that much more exciting, don't you agree?" Felicia cooed. She was clearly having way too much fun teasing Cassie.

Meanwhile, Cassie was really hoping she wasn't blushing as deeply as she thought she was. (For the record, she was.) "I, uh, I really don't know..."

"But if it's all too much for you, that's OK. I have my own kitty to play with in that case. Although I'd be more than happy to let you play with her, too, if that was what you wanted. Of course, you'll have to catch us, first."

*Uh-oh. What have Gwen & I gotten ourselves into?* Cassie wondered. "I... think I'm going to go tell the others you've made a full recovery," she said, leaving the bedroom wondering what the hell just happened.

Meanwhile, Felicia smirked widely. *Getting caught sounds like more fun than ever now,* she thought. *Although, it might be fun to pounce, too...*

Cassie found Gwen talking to Laura in the apartment kitchen and let them know Felicia had made a recovery.

"Good. Now we can start tracking Kraven & Cheetah," Laura acknowledged. "I say we start looking in Hell's Kitchen. Plenty of people around there those two would love to get ahold of."

"Sounds like a good starting point," Gwen agreed. "I'll let Felicia & Selina know."

Laura looked at Gwen curiously. "Sure you want to bring them along?"

"Sure. Why wouldn't I?" Gwen wondered.

"People like them use situations like this to their advantage. They'd only slow us down," Laura explained. "Best to let them do their own thing while we do ours."

"You wound us, Miss Laura," Selina said teasingly as she and Felicia walked into the room. "Believe it or not, we can play well with others when we want to. And we know Kraven & Cheetah need to be stopped."

"Besides," Felicia added, "I was poisoned and nearly knocked out of commission by one of their little traps. I want payback. So, like it or not, stabby, we're coming with you."

"Huh. Payback. Now that I understand," Laura admitted. "I guess I can work with you two. But..."

--SNIKT!-- Laura made a fist and popped her claws as she glared at the thieves. "I still don't trust you. Try to screw us over and I'm gonna see how many ways I can personally skin a cat."

As Laura, Gwen & Cassie left the room to prepare, Selina and Felicia shared a sly grin.

"Tsk tsk. Such an angry young woman, wouldn't you say, lover?" Selina asked Felicia.

"No kidding. But I bet she's wild between the sheets," Felicia remarked.

Selina was quick to agree. "I don't doubt that for a second. I look forward to getting to know our new friends better, don't you?"

"Oh, I'm sure we'll have plenty of fun with them," Felicia agreed as she and Selina kissed. "So, are you ready to do some hunting?"
