Hunters Rest

Chapter 52 by RicoLouis RicoLouis

I was stunned to see the quit little town was no bustling with activity as I saw a large group of human soldiers. Many of the banners I did not know but I would guess they were from the south.

I headed into the tavern which was packed. The girls where busy working the men out of their gold trying to get them to come upstairs. This number of men they would be as sore as I was if they got lucky. This many men it would be hard not to. I got a seat at the bar and waited as the wench poured some drinks for a few of the soldiers.

"Hey..." I heard a voice say and turned to see the carpenter. "Finally made it out of the woods. Let me tell you. After you left my mill is running at a hundred percent and all of the farms. Completely dry now. Greta, this is the wizard." He said and the wench looked over.

"Well all be." She smiled. "Ill get you next sugar."

"Thanks."

"No. thank you friend. All these guys might have taken a different route but now the roads are open and poof, soldiers just start showing up and this is just the advanced guards. Calvary mostly. Foot soldiers are still on their way. Names Bernard by the way." He said offering his hand and I shook it. "The lovely lady behind the counter is my little sister Katherine."

"The girls work for her." I looked around at the girls as I saw one lead a young man up the stairs.

"Yes and no. She looks out for them but she just rents them the rooms but doesn't take a cut of what they make. Even if they don't get laid she still gets paid." Bernard laughed. So she wasn't a mad'am and they could leave at any time they wanted.

"What can I get you love." She came over smiling as she dried her hands on her apron.

"Got any food?"

"Heavens no sorry. This lot done ate everything I got. Sorry." She shrugged. I wasn't really surprised.

"It's okay. I will have a drink if you have any of that left."

"Indeed. That we do have. We had stocked up for the hunting season. What's your poison." She smiled. I ordered my drink and washed it down then made my way out through the crowd. I went to head out but noticed a Fletcher's shop. I had used up most of my arrows when fleeing Stonehills so I figured I would take a peek. I walked in to find an empty shop.

"Sorry, I am fresh out of steel heads." A young woman said as she came out from the next room. I was surprised to see she was an elf. A very lovely elf though her hair was a lovely reddish brown auburn color instead of the blonde hair I was used to.

"What?" I asked.

"Steel head arrows. All I got left is iron heads and not a lot of them." She said.

"That will do." I nodded. She set a bundle on the table. I picked them up and looked them over. They were really good quality.

"You have to be the first hunter to come in here today." She smiled.

"Why do you say that?"

"You looked at the fletching. Soldiers care more about the arrowheads." She shrugged.

"Guilty as charged." I smiled. "I will take them. Can't say I have ever seen an elf with brown hair."

"Half elf. My father was an elf. My mom runs the lodge." She smiled.

"I take it he taught you how to make arrows?"

"And how to shoot them." She nodded and tied up the bundle with string to hold them together. "I also know all the best hunting spots if you need a guide."

"Maybe next time." I nodded. She was a woman after my own heart. I paid her for the arrows. "Thank you for the arrows."

"No problem. The names Elsa by the way." She smiled. I might have took her up on her offer if I didn't have other things to do. I crossed the bridge as I saw the water level had went up significantly and was flowing pretty fast now. I decided to go see how my waterfall was doing on my way to Harry's farm. I could really use a bath after my little romp in the grass last night before I headed to Harry's to pick up the cat girl.

I found the lake which was still a pretty good size but the water was flowing pretty fast now. I went to the edge and down the hill taking off my shirt and squatting by the water and splashed water on my face. Suddenly a figure came up out of the water. A female figure flicking her long blond hair backwards. Her back arching slightly as her small firm breast pointed slightly upward. It took me a second to realize she was an elf. I wasn't looking at her ears mind you. A second longer to realize I knew her. It was Princess Willow. She had one hell of a nice body. Slender but slightly tone. Small pert tits, slender waist and one hell of an tone ass.

"Enjoying the show?" She grinned as she turned and reached back and rung out her hair.

"No, sorry I didnt know."

"Can you hand me my shirt?" She said as she ran her hands over her breast whipping away the water on them and then shook out her arms. I picked up her tunic as she came up on the shore. "It's okay, you can look." She teased. "If you would have been ten minutes earlier I might have let you do more."

"What are you doing out here?" I asked.

"Bathing." She grinned as she pulled on the tunic.

"I meant here, in this kingdom?"

"Me and my men stopped to rest our horses. We will be joining the human army. It was a long ride so I thought I would freshen up before we road to the city." She said sliding on her pants which was a bit odd to see a female do it.

"I am heading that way myself." I nodded

"You can come with us then. Not every day one gets an elvin escort."

"I have some business to take care of first at a farm up the way."

"We can wait for a bit. Were camped in a field just west of here."

"Sounds good." I smiled. I watched her leave and finished washing off and rode for the farm.

"Morning." Harry waved from the field. Him and the Minotaur were hard at work plowing the field. He told the minotaur something and then came over. "Can you belive it. Some wizard up and cast a spell down river and now all of the farms that didn't get completely washed out are dry. If anything its easier to plow while its damp."

"Glad to hear." I smiled.

"Your girl is all ready to go. This way." He said. We talk for a bit. He said the wall was coming along. They where building some kind of irrigation system which I didn't really understand but I listened all the same. We reached the barn where the girl was milking an actual cow.

"Felecia, you remember the man who bought you?" Harry said.

"Yes sir. Are we ready to go." She did a little bow.

"When ever you are. No hurries." I smiled.

"I will get my things." She nodded and headed off. She came back and hugged the farmer goodbye he gave me her papers and we headed off.

"Hey my friend." The cat man said from the rivers edge as we where leaving the farm. He was working with about half a dozen others laying stones. "So you bought the cat girl, she is very lovely yes?"

"I would say so."

"What ever you paid for her I will pay double." He smiled and looked at the girl.

"Sorry but no." I shook my head and he began to say something. "She isn't for sell."

"Ah, very well my friend. Maybe next time then. I am sure we will be seeing each other again."

"Until then." I nodded and we headed off. "Do you want to go back?"

"What?" She asked.

"The farm. You can go back if you want."

"No. You own me now." She shook her head.

"That doesn't mean I won't respect your wishes."

"He has enough mouths to feed." She hung her head.

"You didn't want to go with the stone mason did you?"

"No, he only wanted me to make me his third wife." She shook her head. I felt less bad about turning him down now.

"Very well." We made it to the elf camp were the princess was waiting now in her armor though for some reason I was still trying to look at her tits. We mounted up and got ready to head out.

"Hop up." I offered my hand to Felecia.

"It's okay I can walk."

"Unless your ready to run for the next five leagues you better get on." Princess Willow said as she passed. Felecia reluctantly took my hand and I pulled her up. She grasped on tight as she wrapped her arms around me. Her breast pressing against my back as we rode for the city.
