Who is the main character?
Human Behavior Experimental Laboratory
It was the university's Department of Psychiatry that was charged with finding a (chemical) cure (or not) for Absolute Gullibility Syndrome. In the meantime, the Human Behavior Experimental Laboratory division of the Department of Psychology worked with those who had (or who "volunteer" to have) AGS to discover better ways for them to cope and live with their disability.
But as AGSers were the perfect test subjects, these scientists-at-heart could not resist conducting many experiments that, at best, only tangentially touched upon the condition. And they did this while the guinea pigs were under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, the recordings of which were periodically reviewed for any breach of ethics.
