Chapter 50 by SkylightsBLADE SkylightsBLADE

How does he feel about Talia now?

How does she feel about him?

It was in the blissful aftermath of our shared pleasure and jovial laughter that I really pondered how I felt about Talia. Honestly part of me felt like I owed something to Stephanie, that because we gave each other our first times that we were meant to be. Yet at the same time, I felt something in me flutter at the very thought of Talia. Still though, I felt almost like I was betraying Stephanie, like somehow I was meant to wait for her. I guess my thoughts were pretty easy to read on my face for a we sat in silence I felt a gentle hand grasp mine.

"Still thinking about Stephanie?" Talia's voice caused me to look up to see the soft smile on her face.

"Kind of." Despite the fact she knew the answer to my question, Talia couldn't hide her disappointed look from me.

"Look, I'm sorry, Talia, I just feel like I'm supposed to be waiting for her," I apologized lightly, holding off on the full story.

"And?" She gave me another smile that informed me that she knew I was holding back.

"And I don't want to. I just had this belief that when I finally gave away my first time It would be with the person I loved," I said with a sigh.

"God, you sound like a girl," Talia said with a laugh, swatting at me lightly with a pillow.

"Yeah, I do but at least I know that wasn't true, for me or Stephanie," I said with a laugh of my own.

"And how do you know that, Ian?" she asked with a blinding smile.

"Because I felt better with you." I didn't mean it to sound the way it did and I Talia knew it too.

"Maybe I'm just more experienced?" she asked in a haughty tone of feigned arrogance, so over the top we both burst out laughing.

"Maybe. Maybe not," I teased her with a smile on my face after we had both recovered.

"Maybe we should figure it out," she said, an equally teasing grin on her face with something I couldn't decipher hidden behind her look.

"And why is that?" I hadn't expected a serious answer to my question, especially not with the conversation we'd been having before I asked it.

"Because I love you, Ian." The truth I felt behind her words left my mind reeling so I couldn't even comprehend what was happening next.

Talia hadn't even let me respond before she had her lips pressed against mine. She was aggressive and needy like she was sure that she was never going to get another kiss. Her arms wrapped around my neck and her legs around my waist like she was trying to prevent me from going anywhere so she could at least have this one moment.

Before I knew what I was doing my lips pressed back against hers with equal need that I didn't realize was buried within me. My hands grasped her waist and pulled her closer into me. My tongue licked at her lower lip asking for entry which was quickly granted. I explored every inch of her mouth causing a mewl of pleasure to escape the beauty on top of me.

When we finally pulled apart for air my head was spinning for more than one reason. My eyes met hers and the look on her face was one of fear, a look I had never seen across Talia's face. She looked at me with so much hope yet so much fear in that one moment, and I would have been a fool not to say something.

"Ian?" Still she was the first one to talk as I still needed air in my lungs.

"Yeah, Talia?" I asked lamely in response.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that," she said in a small voice that didn't suit her normally vibrant personality.

"Was it true?" I asked her.

She only nodded meekly in response.

"Then maybe we should try this out," I said with a smile as she looked at me with a look of shock. "Cause I love you too, Talia."

Then she gave me the brightest smile I had ever seen.

Well, what happens now?
