Chapter 6 by jennaalley jennaalley

How could it get worse?

How about this

As you stumble down the street, tired, scared, and disoriented, you hear a yell.

"There she is! You, stop!"

You know the yelling is directed at you and you break into a sprint. The only advantage to your new body is that you're much more agile. You easily outrun the pursuing gold-cloaks and slip under a cobble wall into a block of apartments. As you stand up and take a breather, another gold-cloak cuffs you in the side of the head, knocking you out cold.

You come to, once again, this time slung over the shoulder of the towering gold-cloak. There's no point in resisting, he's 3 maybe 4 times your size. You twist and look ahead to see that he's carrying you to the red keep. Your stomach drops and you know this won't go well no matter what.

He carries you into a room in the barracks at the keep. It's cold and dark and you've yet to say a word. He throws you down on the stone floor and tell you, "Sit. Don't fucking move."

He leaves and slams the heavy wood door, making you flinch. The room is dimly lit by a lone sconce and you feel your way over to the wooden chair next to the small table. You sit as told, assuming there's no way out of this.

What happens now?
