Sue's outfit, a bustier, tiara and panties, is an obvious reference to Wonder Woman. The presence of the action figure in Esther's apartment, as well as the fact she will sometimes wear Sue-branded merch, is a reference to Gal Gadot. In fact, if you booty call Esther as Trevor, you can even make her cosplay the heroine.

Next to it is a photograph. You guide Franklin to examine it, seeing it's of Esther, in a desert setting, in military fatigues, toting a rather impressive rifle.

The camera is pulled to the bedroom, where Esther's voice is coming from, and you decide to cut off exploring her place, to get to the main event.

If you had continued on, you might have seen several photos, Esther with her arm linked around an unnamed but recognisable British woman. Lara, the game's brand new, still unmentioned fourth protagonist.

In fact, when you start playing as Lara, later in the game, Esther is a mission contact, a co-worker during the Vanilla Unicorn side missions and a friend you can do activities with (complete with an option to turn it into something more, just like the guys can.)

But for now, you intend to focus on Franklin, Esther and what they're getting up to.

"You wanna get high, Franklin?" Esther says, nodding to the **** paraphenalia laid out on the desk before her. "I got weed, coke and some crystal."

Rather than just the novelty diversion they were in the original game, **** are now consumables with various effects, positives and drawbacks.

Weed could calm your character, helping them stay calm in battle, or during dangerous stunts. It also restored health (it was still a video game, realistic-looking as it was)

Coke increased your stamina temporarily, but made... certain minigames, like the one Franklin would soon be doing with Esther, that much harder. It was also addictive.

Crystal Meth gave damage resistance, and even allowed Franklin, Michael and Lara to use a weakened version of Trevor's double-damage dealing Special, but was addictive.

You settle on doing some coke. As you select the ****, you see a greyed out option to do lines off Esther's body, one that will only unlock as she becomes more infatuated with you, as she becomes Franklin's girlfriend.

Franklin snorts a line off Esther's table, the Israeli following suit soon after. Then, she pounces on him, eagerly.
