Hopes Raised by Danny

"That's e-fucking-nough, well more than enough."

Danny's angry words were directed at May, as well as a firm grasp on her forearm that just bordered on painful.

"You're acting like the ugliest cunt anyone's ever seen.", Danny hissed, "And remember, I have seen you, he finished in an ominously loud whisper that sent May blushing, in the shower."

"The one thing I asked, the one thing, was no fucking fighting!", Danny swung accusatory fingers around the room, "What did I say? No fucking fighting, no arguing, no insults!", ending his sweep with May, "How did I fucking know it could get worse than that?"

He released May's arm sourly and let it hang limply in shocked chastisement.

"You all should be well ashamed of yourselves. Lauren is a lovely young woman who I would still treasure to have as a friend, unlike you sorry lot. Her loss was a loss, and yes, it hurt me, but losing you lot, his firm gaze never wavering from May's, which was planted on the floor, might well be a gain."

The group stood looking at corners fleetingly, embarrassed by their immature actions.

All but Lauren, who stood warmly next to Danny, even leaning her head on his arm.

"Honestly, you all think it's cool to go through life as the villains of an '80s teen film?"

"Yea!", she agreed.

"Lauren is the most beautiful girl here!"

"Damn right!".

"She has a womanly, lovely, proud bush with a wonderful natural shade."

Lauren was now goofily strutting in place, akin to a chicken, especially with her flat chest.

"Lot's of men like them hairy and thick!"

"Uh...yeah.", she replied, a bit uncertain.

"Sure, she may not have womanly curves to boot."

"well..."

"Flat as a board, chair of the itty bitty titty committee, wondertits, double stuffed, you don't think she's heard them all?!"

Lauren's barely restored pride was easily melting as she blushed.

"You don't think she feels enough shame having to stuff her cups? To put on a pretense to secure herself of her most basic identity? Lying to everyone she meets about something as vain has her bra size?"

Lauren turned her toe into the rug, her hands clasped behind her back.

Danny concluded his admonishments, "Now, give Lauren back her ummm....enhancements...and let's get going!"
