The next day you walk into Nikki's office early in the morning after having such an eventful time made even more fun with trying to get home. The kid could not be left at the ranch as he seemed to only be good due to your presence or maybe due to other reasons but the risk of leaving him was not worth it just to find out later he did something to someone. Of course once the Doctors and scientists back home found out about him they wanted to see him asap anyway, oh boy trying to get him into a vehicle was not going well at all till Becky recommends trying an open back truck. Luckily the kid took travelling at speed in the back of a truck way better then trying to get into an enclosed space of a vehicle. Upon arriving back at the medical centre, an area had already set aside an area for the kid, you once again spent another night in the medical centre near to the kid just to be on the safe side just in case he got up to any trouble but he was fine.

Sitting down across from Nikki, she simply looks to you, then turns her computer screen to face you, " Tim the kid is doing well I hope, because what we have found out is very worrying and very interesting in equal parts". Telling Nikki everything seems to be fine for now with you ask what she means, " he has settled in ok or as ok as someone in his state can I guess, we are going to have to find a way to give him a bath or something as the smell is going to only get worse, but what is it you have found out that is so bad". Reading the screen you get a surprise, " he is in the system how, why and just what is all this information anyway".

Nikki laughs as everything is in medical terms for sure, " the kid or I should say James Crest was taken ill with the virus within the first week of it hitting are shores, he awoke from it and was classed as an infected danger and sent to a holding facility, were he remained under observation right up until everything went wrong. Interestingly he started to show changes a few days before the facility was abandoned, now I would have said he was becoming an alpha freak but we can now say he was changing into what he is now. More importantly we have run the samples taken from the other two behemoths and they were at the facility as well and showed signs of change long before James did. It should also be said they are from completely different towns and cities with zero linking factors, heck they were not even in the same building let alone holding area when the changes began to become apparent."

Reading the information it is great that the ladies can now uplink to the off site servers again, it seems poor James really did get shafted, he caught the virus on his 18th birthday and his whole family is listed as deceased due to the virus as well and even before that his parents had signed a document allowing for any and all tests to be carried out on him, legally right now anything could be done to him in the name of trying to find a cure or vaccine. " Nikki just what are we going to do with James I mean what can we do for him".

Sitting back in her chair and sighing, " first order of business is to find him somewhere to stay, then we need to get him cleaned up. After that we need to draw more samples from him and from these samples maybe find something that can be done to help him. But I do know the others seem to want to use him as a test subject for the stuff they have come up with to combat the virus. We do not know what this stuff will do to him, it could do nothing, it could work or it could kill him". Seeing the look on your face Nikki feels the same way conflicted Jams is a person but where else are they going to find a candidate so for testing.

Thinking on where to house him, Nikki suggests a house at first but that might not work, when an idea pops into your head, " Nikki why not set him up in the school sports department, we are not using it for anything right now and best of all the department has those large areas for the athletes health check ups, not only that but it also has the large hot tube things for relaxing muscles so would could use them to try and get him clean as the kid seems to do what ever I do and they are close together. Not only that but it is nice and large and open in the gyms so he can have somewhere to call home and still have space for all the equipment we might need to use for testing, so the docs can set up to monitor him and if the things they want to test on him go wrong he is also not in the middle of everyone".

Leaning back in her chair Nikki is thinking on the idea a lot, then takes a pad and starts making some notes before picking up her radio, " Elizabeth assemble a team together for the study of James Crest we are going to put him up in the school over". Doctor Porter replies she will have the team ready to go in an hour and that all those who returned from the events of yesterday are fit to be dealt with now. Hearing this you ask " oh so does that mean Mrs Hopper has been informed about her sister then".
