Commander Jane Shepard sighed as she lowered herself down into her hot tub. There was nothing better after a good workout.

It was still hard to believe. She had died, twice, faced the most unstoppable **** in the galaxy, won, and now was a soldier without a war.

That was still the strangest part.

She examined herself in a mirror she installed. Miranda was a real miracle worker. She looked good for someone who died twice.

Her skin was smooth and clean of most scars, except for a few she earned before the war and the new one from Harbinger. She could have that removed but wanted to keep it. A reminder of when she spit in the eyes of the most powerful beings in existence and sent them to hell.

The rest of her looked amazing.

As the warm water and jets worked their magic she felt herself beginning to be lulled to sleep.
