Barbara quickly texted both Dick and Alysia the same thing,
'Really tired, heading home to sleep'
She then texted her dad,
'Thanx, be careful'
She began her journey home, her body protesting in pain the whole way, when she reached the house she dropped her backpack by the door and had to decide if she had the energy to get up the stairs to bed or if she just wanted to crash on the couch.
