Home and Work Pt 2

"Zelda sure had a lot of outfits," Hilda said. Tink and Melfina nod. "But I feel like we really changed them with the recolors," Hilda smiled. "Like they might really be "mine" now, if that makes sense?"

Melfina and Tink both nod. Tink adds. "You know Hilda... most 'Tinker Bell's don't look like I do. I had an... let's just say an incident that changed me and I embraced it... and so did Dave."

She shows them a picture of a "old" Tinker Bell and Dave as a little kid. They were both smiling happily, Dave missing a tooth and his hair kinda longish but neat like a little prince. Dave was wearing a shirt the exact same green color as her dress and moccasins as they read together. "I changed how I dressed to suit the new me. A lot of kids used to tease Dave about having a fairy character before but he kinda let it slide. But after when they told him I was "corrupted", "broken" or threatened to throw me out for him he never let that slide. It was an instant fight trigger for him. He got kicked out of several schools."

She showed them a picture of post change Goth Tink dressed nearly all in black complete with heavy makeup, chains and fishnets as she stuck out her tongue and Dave... Dave as a young teen had skipped right past Goth and Emo and gone straight to punk thug and not the fashionable kind. He wore a plain black denim jacket and boots but not the fancy kinds and that was as fashionable as it got. His hair was short. His face bandaged. He'd been fighting. His eyes looked like he was trying not to care while holding a beat-up paperback. They were joined by a smiling young Harley Quinn with her arms around them who completely contrasted their mood. She was having fun and she'd drag them into it with her if she had too! But they were all tightly together. Bonded.

"Awwww," said Melfina. "I still think you guys were cute!"

Tink blushed. "We were trying too hard... except for Harls. She's always been that way. She got a bit more foul mouthed as time went on but Harley was always Harley. Crazy, damn energizer bunny... probably why her morning "start-up" is so rough. Just being Harley has to be exhausting."

Hilda smiled. "I agree with Melfina. It's a big change from how you were but you both looked good in both portraits and how you look now. I can see how you changed back somethings but kept the other changes... though daves changes are the most basic but drastic in a way."

Tink shrugged. "His old mans influence. He's an actual cowboy type from hat to boots... but when it's important business time he always wore suits no matter how much he hated them. So when Dave became a business type..."

Hilda nodded. "He "cleaned up" his image. He still favors darker colors though and simplicity."

Tink nodded. "Yep. And to be even less like his old man he dresses sharply like that at home too. He'll wear jeans and boots dressing casual but then pair them with a simple vest and jacket. Distinctive. Most of the time he looks pretty sharp."

"He made his own look," Hilda said. "You all did. That's what you're telling us."

Tink smiled. "I wanted you feel free to try different things on while we "shop". You might find something that you like if you try different things out. The important thing is how wearing them makes you "feel". All of us want you to feel good and comfortable with your choices and selections." She puts her phone away. "Okay so Hilda needs a swimsuit and some sleep wear. Mel you try some different things too. Just because we ordered stuff from your show doesn't mean you can't have more especially if you find something that you like. We also need to think about warm, cold and wet weather gear as well..."

"Dave the specialist will come for Casca and Saki in an hour. Does that work?"

Dave looks at Harley's outline nodding. "Yeah that sounds good. I like the "plots" you worked out for them. Saki's background will mostly be a hazily remembered "bad dream" that's mostly forgotten and has little to do with her "new" life. Just like she wanted. And Casca... I really like this rewrite to be honest."

Harleen looked and smiled. "Yeah? I do too! You realize it kinda casts her in Gutz "role" and you in hers when we make our virtual adjustments and you'll have to join her. You good with that? Also that'll make her kind of a handful too unless I use optional additions A through C..."

Dave nodded. "I don't mind getting rescued by a beautiful amazon at all! Pretty hot actually!" He frowned looking at the options though. "No... I don't mind if something happens between us naturally but don't **** it. She's not a "fuck doll" programmed to love me. We didn't get her for that. Besides her values in that area are already gonna be high but that's natural with the changes."

Harleen shrugged. "Yeah I know. She's gonna be a "beast" and a fierce protector. Ok how about D then?"

Dave looked it over. "Hmmmm you know... that's actually really cute! A nice contrast. But what's with her affection level?"

Harleen sighed. "Ok, i get you don't want her to be **** to love us or be a sex **** but she's got the potential to be dangerous if she doesn't "bond" with us strongly in a protective way. This only nudges that processes along. I got the idea from last night. You and the others would have been pissed if I'd **** you with some of Ivy's strong stuff. But what we had was basically a mild mood enhancer. It lowered inhibitions a bit while boosting chemical attraction a smidgen. Nobody did anything they didn't want to and infact it made it easier for them to act on the things they desired and lusted for. That's why a bit of natural embarrassment aside, everyone was really happy this morning and no one was ashamed of anything they did."

Dave nodded. "I see what your saying. It's an affection enhancer but not a booster... her affection levels will simply rise a bit quicker if they rise at all... and making her a bit shy is really kind of cute! Wait this isn't turning her from a bit of a Tsundere to dandere, is it? If she's going to be our head of security that's no good, Harls! She'll be crippled with meek shyness... which would be kinda cute for someone that strong but wouldn't work for our purposes."

Harleen shakes her head. "I know that. I wouldn't do that to her or us. This will be good for evening out her mental values a bit with all our adjusting is all." She adjusts her glasses hoping he bought that. *I'm making her a bit of a hajidere instead! All her shyness will be only for you her master! So fucking cute!*

Dave thinks about it. Harleen made some good points. They were making her pretty different from her base self already. And having an unstoppable **** of nature badass who's not happy with them would be bad... "yeah ok. We want her happy "mama bear" and not frenzied berserker after all. Go with it."

Harleen nodded as calmly as she could as she did mental somersaults and flips in joy. "Understood. Option D, it is. Have you picked out the names for them? If we change their names a bit it helps distance them further from their old lives and will help cement their new "selves" firmly."

Dave sighed. "I just talked with Melfina about how hard names were to come up with..."

Harleen smiled. "Easy Shakespeare. It's not that hard. Even a small change is fine. Any other characters I wouldn't bother but we want to protect them from the horrors of their old lives so..."

Dave nodded thinking. "Okay... let's change Casca to Kaska the Manslayer since we're replacing some of her background with Gutz's and... Saki Yoshida can be Sazi HopeBlossom. You know cause her family was crap with what they did so fuck them but Saki is a pretty name that means Hope Blossom... so that way... she gets to keep it?"

Harleen pat's his head nodding. "Don't quit your day job, guy."

Dave groaned. "This is my day job!"

"Ok," she said still patting his head. "Get better at your day job, then. At least what you told Mel was true!"

Dave nodded. "I suck at names."

Harleen nodded. "Yup. But those are actually pretty good for you. We'll use them."

"We will?" He blinked. "Then why are you giving me shit about them?"

Harleen shrugged. "Cause it's funny?"

Dave sighed. "Thanks. I'm going to go check on Casca and then Twilight and Midnight Sparkle. You watch Midna and check Saki and call me when the specialist arrives!"
