Home alone for the weekend

After another grueling week of college life, you retire to your dorm for a relaxing weekend alone. With everything on your plate you feel you deserve some time to yourself.

You begin your weekend with some movies, rewatching your favorite movie franchise. Next you play some video games until you get bored and sick of listening to gamers trash talk each other. After that, you fit in a little "self love", before deciding to treat yourself by ordering dinner.

As you were eating however, you heard a knock at the door. Your mind immediately flashed back to the countless times Ashley showed up at your door beaten and bloody. For a moment, you froze in place, scared the cycle was repeating once again.

A second knock shocked you out of it however, and despite how heavy your legs suddenly felt, and despite the growing lump in your throat, you got up and started toward the door, hesitantly reaching for the doorknob.
