“I’ve had a lot of fun,” you say as you sit down on the bench that looks out over the pond. He’d taken you out for dinner and then a walk around the pond. It was quiet and no one else seemed to be around. So, you thought the perfect ending to this first date would be to sit down and take in the scene. Even if you didn’t want to be a virgin any longer, you certainly didn’t just want to be the easy girl either. Plus, you’d met this guy at the ministry group at college, so you didn’t even thought what he thought about sex.

“Me too,” he said. He was rather sweet and not at all cocky like the jerks she’d attempted to date from time to time in high school and even her first few months of college.

They sat in silence for more than a few moments before you break the silence, thought not by using words. You lean over and turn until your mouth can fit nicely against his. Pressing your lips together, you give him a sweet kiss until he is kissing you back.

“Wow, I can’t say I was expecting that,” Isaac says with a chuckle. “Most girls won’t even let me give them a kiss somewhere on their face let alone their lips until we’re actually dating.”

You shrug, trying to not look too easy. You don’t want him to get the wrong impression. “Even if we don’t date or anything, you’ve been very nice and are deserving of a kiss. It doesn’t have to mean anything.” You pause for a few moments. “But, I do really like you, so it could mean something as well.”

“Well, if you’d like, we could go somewhere a little more private to talk.” You’re about to assume he’s trying to get more until you realize that there are some people starting to roam around nearby.

“That’d be great,” you say. You two walk away and he takes you back to an apartment that he tells you his parents got for him to live in while at college. You’re both impressed and very nervous.

You do talk a little bit, but very quickly things turn to kissing and even a little bit more passionate.
