With Christmas right around the corner, Holly Brooks, had decides to look for an easy second job for the holiday period, just for a little boost to her income.
Her friend Melanie had been able to help her out, getting her work at the same mall, for the same company.
It was simple. They would sell a new vacuum cleaner from a round reception desk in the middle of the mall. With it being Christmas the place was packed and so sales would be easy enough.

Having dressed simple, a black pair of leggings, sneakers, the company provided a black shirt with the company logo on the brest.
After the first hour or so, Holly had to admit this was easy, and with a decent enough pay packet because of the season, she knew she would come away this week well off for Christmas. There was just one simple problem. The vacuum they had on show wasn't working properly, so Melanie said she would drive to the company warehouse nearby and get a spare, telling Holly before she left to just "Try and work with it" until she returned.

A few minutes went by and Holly had to do another demonstration. The vacuum still worked but its suction was quite weak. So she would have to go for something easy. She walked out from behind the reception desk, the vacuum wheeled behind her. She grabbed some ribbons from a nearby Christmas decoration and put it on the ground.

"Okay folks, as we all know, it's Christmas time. A lot of decorations about, lot's of glitter and other little bits and pieces being trodden into your carpets. Well today is your lucky day, this brand new cordless, lightweight, powerful vacuum cleaner from E.N.F home and electronics, will leave your carpets clean and brand new."

She grabbed a small bit of carpet and a small box of glitter she had been given for demonstration purposes, and tossed them on the floor. She stuck the carpet down and emptied the glitter on top of it.
"As you can see, it effortlessly takes everything it touches, even the thickest carpet will look brand new."

The vacuum turned on and quickly sucked up every last bit of glitter from the carpet, which Holly held up for people to see.

"But that's not all, it can also be used on your clothes."
She flicked some glitter onto her leggings, then she removed the larger nozzle from the vacuum and began sucking the glitter off of herself with the smaller one. The small group watching seems suitably impressed.
Holly smirked,hoping she would get a sale before Melanie returned. But just as she was feeling pleased with herself, she made a mistake.
She should have turned the vacuum off first, she didn't, instead she yanked the vacuum head off her leggings, and as she did she could feel the seam rip a little. She ignored it.
"Now, anyone interested should come talk to me at the desk and we'll fill out your order."
Holly returned to the desk and put the vacuum down in front of her on the desk she sat down.
She looked down at her right leg, there was a small tear in the seam of her leggings just above her knee. She would have to go and buy a new pair on her break, she would just have to wait for Mel to return.
