Sandra wasted no time at all with her request. It seemed safe by its very nature. "Well, you can't mess up doing nothing, let's try Hold Person!"

"Huh, never thought of it that way," Fiora said cheerfully as she flipped through the book, "Ah, here we go. Such a short and simple spell. You're right, I got this!"

Fiora looked over the spell a couple times, committing it to memory. Then she got up.

"I'll practice reciting from memory since this one's so short. Get ready!"

Fiora walked toward Sandra as she started on the spell, her voice slipping into a very gentle tone. She went slowly, making sure she got every word right. The short spell was still over in no time, though Fiora didn't quite get the last syllable out...
