His turn to order

"Hello... sir? May I take your order?" The woman behind the counter said again as she tried to get Sam's attention. Sam turned and faced the woman who maintained a friendly face while she tried to get Sam's attention.

"Oh sorry, I thought I saw someone I knew." Sam lied as looked up at the menu. "I'll just take a cheeseburger meal with a soda please." He said trying to make his order quick since he was now holding up the line. The woman smiled and rang in the order. "That'll be $7.95." The woman said as she pointed to the card reader in front of Sam. Pulling out his wallet Sam quickly paid for his food. "You"ll be order #69. We'll call you when it's ready." Said the woman as she then started to greet the next customer.

Moving aside Sam began to wait for his food. He watched as the cashier took a couple of orders. While she worked Sam tapped on the phone a few times, contemplating whether or not he should use it. "What the hell... why not?" He said to himself as he pull the phone up and quickly snapped a picture.

"Order #68!" The cashier yelled as her body expanded right in front of everyone. Sam was the only person who noticed the change as she handed the food over to the customer. Returning to the register she continued taking orders.
