His parents saw him

A few hours later John went into the kitchen to get lunch. His mother and father were already sitting there. As they saw John enter, they were taken by complete surprise. "John? What happened?" His mother asked.

"What should have happened, mom?" John asked not knowing what she meant.

"Why are you wearing make-up?" She replied.

"Because I always do?" John answered wondering why she asked. "Don't tell me you have forgotten that I always wear make-up, except while sleeping and in the shower."

"Are you ill, John?" The mother asked and put his hand on his son's forehead. "At least no fever."

"Don't tell me you have lost your mind?" His father asked.

"Is everything ok with you two?" John asked and took a step back. "You are acting like you see me like this for the first time." Without realizing it John had spoken the truth. "Let's sit down and eat lunch. I feel hungry." He sat down and began eating his lunch. Soon his parents followed, but they still kept looking at their son with worried looks.

The next morning they were just as shocked as before as they saw their son entering the kitchen again wearing make-up.

"You don't intend to go to school wearing make-up?" His mother asked.

"Why not? I always wear make-up when I leave the house." John replied like it was totally normal.

"John, it's not normal for a boy to wear make-up." His mother argued.

"I don't know what you are talking about, mom? These days it totally normal for a boy to wear make-up." John replied and finished his breakfast. "See you in the evening." He stood up and left the house with his school bag. His parents couldn't do anything but to look after him.
