His neighbors

It was his neighbors from across the hall. He opened the door, stepping out into the hall. One of them smiled politely. “Hi, Tom, right?” He gave a grin.

“They keep telling me that.”

“Well, I’m Ellen and this is my partner Molly, we’re your neighbors across the hall. We saw you and your friends moving in yesterday and figured we’d give you the night to get settled before coming over and introducing ourselves.” Her smile, polite before now seemed more genuine. He certainly was an attractive young man. Maybe she just hadn’t gotten a good look at him last night, it was dark after all. She and her partners were lifelong lesbians, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy a bit of eye candy, did it? She giggled. Molly shot her a look so fast Tom almost missed it.

“Ellen, it’s so nice to meet you. I’m still getting settled in but I’ll be having a few friends over later this week. The both of you should drop by, have a few drinks. Maybe invite some of the other neighbors.” Tom wondered which categories they would fall into. Both women were in their thirties. Ellen was tall, and lusciously curvy with smooth tanned skin and long brunette hair, a sharp contrast against Molly who was a tad on the shorter, thicker side, with black curly hair and dark skin.

“That’s sweet, we’ll just have to drop by then!” The longer she stood in the hall the more she felt herself heating up. Her smile was still genuine but starting to get strained. She shifted her weight. She was going to have to jump Molly’s bones when they got back inside. In fact… No! In all her years as a married woman she’d never even entertained the idea of asking a man into their bed. But why is that a bad idea? She concentrated, brow furrowing.

“Well, it was nice meeting you.” Molly interjected. She slipped her hand around Ellen’s and practically dragged her back to their door. Tom waved. “Don’t be strangers!” Then headed back inside.
