You decide to target his loved ones. Bruno made this personal. You teleport downtown to the Riley Industries building, and using your magic rings, it's easy to bypass security to get all the way up to Bruno's CEO office on the top floor. There's only one person on the floor, and she's sitting outside his office. It must be his assistant, Helen, that you had spoken with previously, but she's not exactly what you pictured. Instead of a young woman out of college, Helen looks to be in her mid-30s, well dressed in her power suit, dark hair tied in a bun, and thick black glasses. While she's an assistant, it looks like everything she's wearing and owns is designer brand, and Bruno must pay her well.

"Who are you?!?" she asks when she sees you exit the elevator.

"I'm John Colins."

It takes her a few seconds to register your name and she hastily picks up the phone, either to call security or Bruno. You can't have that, so you activate your mind control ring and command her to stop. She does, and looks terrified.

"Helen, is it?" you ask. She nods.

"What do you know about me?"

"...Everything."

"Everything? Elaborate."

"You have 5 magic rings that give you abilities of teleportation, time control, invisibility, mind control, and super strength."

You're surprised that she knows about your rings, and that Bruno shared the information with her.

"Bruno told you?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"He tells me everything. I manage his life and in return he rewards me nicely."

"So you know everything about him?" you ask.

"Yes."

"Tell me, who does he love the most in the world? Does he love anyone?"

"Yes. He loves Carmen's mother, Angie."

"Carmen's mother? I did my research on Bruno. I didn't find anything about a marriage or about Carmen's mother. Tell me more."

Helen is sweating visibly, knowing that she has **** but to betray her boss as she speaks. "They were never married. They met when they were young. Before Bruno got his ring. She was a young model, looking to make it in New York; he was a young man in the army. Their paths crossed, they fell in love, he got her pregnant, then their careers took off in separate directions so they decided to keep their love child a secret. Bruno's mother raised Carmen."

"And he loves Carmen's mother?"

"Yes."

"Why aren't they together?"

"She got married and had her own family."

You rub your chin thoughtfully, trying to figure out what to do. "I guess that's why he surrounds himself with women, trying to forget about the 1 woman he can't have, right? Do they keep in touch? Does Carmen know who her mother is?"

"Yes, he's said that to me. He doesn't want to think about not being with her. Carmen doesn't know; Bruno never told her. He sends Angie money all the time even though she's rich and doesn't want it. And..." Helen gasps, trying to fight your mind control. It's the first time you've seen someone try to resist your power, and you're amazed. She must have a strong will and **** loyalty to Bruno.

"And what? Answer me," you urge Helen.

She swallows her saliva hard, trying to prevent herself from speaking, but alas, she fails. "And they get together once a year, on the day they met."

"And they have sex?" you ask with a grin, seeing your opening to get back at Bruno.

"I don't know..."

"But you think they do?"

"Yes."

"Why do you think that?"

"Bruno usually has me book the presidential suite at the Bellagio in Vegas and Angie stays there with him for the night."

"When is the next time they're supposed to meet up?"

"Next Wednesday."

"When does Bruno get back?"

"Next Tuesday."

"And the arrangements are made?"

"Yes. I've booked her flight from Texas and reserved the suite in Vegas," Helen replies.

"Okay. This is what I want you to do. Call the hotel and reserve the suite from tonight until next Wednesday under Bruno's name, but inform them that I'll be staying there until he gets there. Then, call this Angie and tell her that Bruno can't make it next week, and wants to see her tomorrow night, and have her fly out tomorrow."

Helen nods and goes about doing as you instruct, before you use your mind control ring to leave her permanent instructions that include being loyal to you instead of Bruno and not telling him about what you're doing. Once that is done, you teleport to the suite in Vegas and spend the night there, ready to exact your **** on Bruno.
