His college class goes awry

Alex was sitting in his seat, blue notebook and an old mechanical pencil out ready to take notes for science class. Today's topic was about chromosomes, chromosome disorders, and how they work.

He adjusted his shirt collar noticing the room was hotter than normal and how it was usually way too cold in this classroom. His college professor, Dr. Arnold usually kept it colder than getting ghosted by a hot girl.

"Good morning class, my name is Ms. Richard and I will be your substitute for today since Dr. Arnold is currently unable to to attend."

Ms. Richard sounded more like a high school teacher than a college professor, but she seemed to know how to start teaching at least.
