High school reunion

You got an email saying that your graduating class was going to be having a reunion. Of course Hailey wanted to go and meet all those friends you’d told her about, but you knew that had all been a lie. In reality, you didn’t have much social interaction apart from the few seconds with your girlfriends and their subsequent breakups with you after meeting Chris.

But nevertheless, you decided it couldn’t hurt to just go for a bit. After all, it wasn’t like anyone really remembered every single person, right? You could just pretend you knew some group of nerds or something.

Well you’d told yourself that, but immediately upon your wife and you arriving you heard a familiar, dreadful voice. Chris.

“Hey! Jacob, is that you?!” Running up to you, Chris had originally planned on getting in some long overdo bullying, but as he got closer his attention turned toward Hailey.

“Damn, and who might you be? You never told me you had a sister this hot, man,” Chris continued, clearly eyeing up Hailey as he tapped you on the shoulder. But Hailey quickly spoke up for you.

“Um, actually, I’m his wife, haha,” the shock spreading across his face as he took in this new info.

“Damn… I can’t believe you managed to score such a looker!” Chris exclaimed after a few seconds, slapping you hard as if you were just old friends. “I’m Chris, lovely. And you are?” He continued, holding out his hand as Hailey shook it, introducing herself in turn.
