High School DxD.

(As always, age everyone up. As such, we'll be treating the titular high school as a university instead.)

The Lamp fell through the sky, having ended up in a fascinating world. It seemed like the God of it was the Biblical one... But he was oddly absent. It was a curious thing, how the Lamp could tell this much, but it had powerful perceptive abilities, and of course, always made sure it knew what it could about the local divinity before committing to staying around. And it could tell what kind of deity was supposed to be present by the metaphysical hole it left.

Was God dead here? Or merely absent? The Lamp didn't know, didn't care, there were no signs of it coming back anytime soon, and even if God returned, he tended to be hands off in modern days... Which in what passed for the Lamp's mind, gave it Carte Blanche to have its fun here.
