Hide in the closet and see what happens when he turns off his Semblance
“Eh, I might as well see what happens now so I’ll know how people react.” Jaune muttered, making his decision. Looking around, he decided to hide in the closet, leaving in cracked to be able to see. If anything happened to cause them to approach, all he had to do was trigger his Semblance again and they wouldn’t see him. “Okay, let the fun begin.”
Taking a deep breath, he shut down his Semblance.
Both girls were dressed, but Velvet was in a bunny outfit over a Dress that Coco originally planned for her to wear. Jaune had swapped it as Coco handed it over to Velvet, so maybe she would still accept it? He couldn’t wait to see.
Coco was in the middle of pinning the outfit when Velvet looked in the mirror.
“COCO!” Velvet gasped. “This isn’t what you told me! I said I didn’t want to wear something like this!”
“Huh...?” Coco blinked. “What the.,..? I swear I gave you the dress, Bun-Bun... but damn. You’re sexy as hell.” She lowered her shades. “You sure you don’t want to continue?”
“NO!” Velvet stomped past her and into the bathroom. “I’m never modeling for you again unless you stop tricking me into these outfits!”
“Wait, Velvet!” Coco held out a hand, but the door slammed in front of her. “Seriously, why did neither of us notice this? That’s not like me. Maybe she’s just too sexy.”
Jaune snickered and then covered his mouth. He had to remain silent. Looking up, Coco’s head swerved slightly to face the closet.
“Who’s there?!” The girl demanded, standing up and approaching the closet.
Activating his Semblance, Coco stopped approaching, forgetting he was even there, as he was no longer noticeable. Jaune pushed open the closet and walked out, slapping Coco’s ass as he passed her. A grin was plastered on his face as he left the room. It occurred to him how much more his power could do than simple sex with hot girls, not that he was going to forgo that.
“Even if I’m caught, my power makes them all forget in an instant.”
Now, it wouldn’t make them forget if they saw him doing something bad permanently. But if they were closing in on him, he could pass by like he did with Coco. Once Jaune dropped his Semblance, Coco might check the closet again, but no one would be there then. Velvet would still be upset and Jaune felt sorry for her. Maybe he’ll make it up to her.
With a large carrot.
Jaune snickered as he went to find something else to do.
