Chapter 7

How escaping them?
Hide in a room and wait
Location: Boys' Dorm, A Bedroom
State: Normal
HP: 100/100
Lust: 5/100
Infection: 0/100
Equipment: Underwear, School Uniform, Trainers, Energetic Bar, Bedside Lamp
As the zombies started to walk in my direction like insects following a light, I threw myself in the nearest bedroom and shut the door behind me before pushing my back against it in order to prevent any intrusion. A key was at my feet. I took it and used it to feverishly lock the door. I closed my eyes and caught my breath, winded. That was a close one, but I was safe now. Was I?
Overcome by doubt, I swept the room until my eyes fell on a tall, blonde, girl. She had blue eyes and wore a ponytail as well as a regular school uniform (although her shirt was certainly too much buttoned down and her skirt was way too short to be regulatory). Sweating and panting, she welcomed me with a cocky smile. White knickers were lying on the floor, which implied she was not wearing any. Behind her, a naked guy was handcuffed to the radiator. He was **** and had a used condom on his half-erected penis. What seemed to be his clothes were piled up next to him.
The girl put a hand on her hip and took a confident stance.
"I don't think I know you. Glad to know there are some other sane persons in here. Zombies are entertaining, but their conversation is seriously lacking of interest. What's your name?", she said by way of introduction.
"Mark", I replied after a moment of hesitation, troubled by her attitude considering the dramatic circumstances.
"You have trouble reminding your name?" she laughed. "Anyway, Mark, thanks for locking the door. I had completely forgotten to do it since I was kinda... busy. Who knows what would have happened to me without you... My name is Chelsea by the way."
"And what's his name?", I asked, looking at the naked guy.
"I have no idea. He's a zombie. I... neutralised him", she explained with a mysterious smile.
"So, do you know what's going on? I woke up and everyone was weird. What happened?"
She gave me a dazed look.
"When did you wake up? It started like, around 10 A.M.!"
"What happened?", I said again, ignoring her question.
"Some student started to act strangely this morning. It wasn't the first time this week, but it was isolated cases, like some girl masturbating in class. Today, it looked more like some kind of epidemy. People got weirder and weirder as time went by. First, there were just some couples having sex in public places. Then, orgies spontaneously occurred in some class rooms. And finally, it was chaos. Mad people **** every sane people they found and soon the **** turned into rapists. Now the place is crowded with zombies. But it could be worse I guess."
"You said the **** turned into rapists?"
"Yeah, it seems that madness is transmitted sexually. So if you wanna have some fun with a zombie, use condoms."
It was a lot of bad news to put up with. At least, I wouldn't have to attend classes.
"And what are you doing in the boys' dorm? Why didn't you go to a safer place? I mean, it's full of guys ready to **** you here...", I observed.
"Are you kidding? It's a real paradise! I can have as many cocks as I want here! Sure, I have to be careful not to become one of them, but you have no idea how long these guys can last."
I opened my mouth in astonishment. Had she just said what I heard?
"Oh, come on! You wouldn't make that face if I were a dude talking about pussies. Girls have needs too, you know? But so much for that. What brought you here?"
"Er, I... I got transferred yesterday night", I answered, still floored by her boldness. "I was trying to save a girl, but I got cornered by the zombies, so I took refuge in the first room I saw."
"Hmm. Sad story. I guess that makes an extra zombie, then", she sighed.
There was an akward silence.
"Ok, I think the zombies have forgotten your existence now, so you don't have to stay here any longer", she told me.
She clearly wanted me out of the room. I felt rejected, but I understood. In this kind of situation, it was not easy to trust people. I was about to leave, when I remembered the red-haired girl's instructions. The roof was a safe place. There were sane people there. From the roof, it would be possible to draw up a plan to get out of this forsaken place, or at least save the girl who had woken me up. Unity is strength. The more we would be numerous, the more we would have a chance to run away from the school. I had to convince Chelsea go to the roof with me.
"Hey, I'm going to the roof. I heard there was some sane people there. Do you wanna come with me?"
"Oh, so you met Sarah."
"Who?"
"A red-haired girl. She tried to gather as many sane people as she could. It wasn't a great success, though. I'm gonna tell you what I told her: no thanks. Like I said, this is a paradise! We can do everything we want! Haven't you always wished to be in a place like this?"
I responded with a dubitative expression. Being in a place full of zombies, lusty or not, was not the kind of paradise I had in mind.
"But you can get **** or become crazy at any time", I objected.
"Believe me, I can defend myself. And if that is the price for freedom, I will gladly pay it. Plus, I'm sure you don't even have a good reason to bring me there. What would that accomplish? Why should I come with you?"
My answer had to be convincing. What could I say to make her understand she had to join me?
"Because...", I started.
What followed?
