Chapter 10 by ZeOffShoot

What should Amy do?

Hide!

As Breezie marched onto the runway which to led to the studio, and unbeknownst to her, a scared Amy hiding behind the curtains which separated them, she was suddenly halted by a sudden plea from Honey.

Honey: Wait! You can't go in there!

Breezie: And why shouldn't I, sweetheart? You know how I hate to kept waiting.

As they continued to argue with each other, Amy realized that Honey had just unknowingly given her a brief moment to act! Without missing a beat, she swiftly dashed back inside the studio and quickly scanned all around it for a place to hide herself.

Her eyes quickly locked on a set of changing booths which where nestled on both sides of the studio that were close to where she stood! Rushing into the first one she saw, she pulled back the curtain just as Breezie entered the studio with a concerned Honey right behind her.

Immediately, both the businesswoman and the designer were perplexed by how the studio looked almost completely empty. Amy, on the other hand, tried to be as quiet as she possibly could as she continued to listen in on their conservation.

Breezie: What's going on here, Honey? There's nothing here!

Honey: I... I'm not sure. I know I left some articles right here on these mannequins!

Breezie: Are you sure about that? How do I know you're not just trying to dodge me?

Honey then noticed something nearby that was unmistakable to her; walking over to the nearby mirror, she knelt down and picked up the pink coattails that Amy had accidentally left behind earlier.

Honey: Because of this. These coattails were part of the line you requested, along with five other items that were here just a few minutes ago!

Breezie: Then, where did they go? It's not like they just got up and walked away by themselves!

Honey: .......

Amy was blushing lightly with shame as she took in every word she was hearing. She had just caused trouble for Honey, even though she had good intentions for doing so...

Annoyed by Honey's refusal to answer her, Breezie began to grow skeptical of her client claims. Her doubts only grew when she turned her attention to the one mannequin that *did* bear something; an entire outfit consisting of a red dress, red boots and white gloves with golden bracelets.

Breezie: What about this outfit, Honey? Did you make this one?

Honey: Uh... Actually, that one is... um...

This new display of **** clinched Breezie's suspicions; there was something else going on that her client was clearly not telling her...

Breezie: No wait, don't tell me. Let me guess. These belong to a customer of yours.

A nervous look appeared on both Honey and Amy's face when they heard her say this. Once she saw the former, Breezie sported a smug grin, confirming she was on to something. She watched amusingly as Honey grew even more nervous as she slowly moved around the studio.

Breezie: You know, I find all this a bit strange. You just said you had six articles stored back here, but didn't tell me about this outfit here. Yet, why is it here, but all the others have mysteriously disappeared? And the second I decided to come in here, you tried to stop me from coming in, and quite frantically I might add. You wouldn't react like that just over some articles of clothing... would you, Honey?

Breezie was clearly enjoying how worried Honey was getting, and if she could Amy's shared anxiety as well, she'd be twice as amused.

Breezie: And then there's supposedly this other customer of yours. I didn't see anyone else in the store. And I also didn't see anyone else leaving before I came in here. So therefore, they must still be here. With that said, I can only conclude that the only logical explanation here, is that they took all of these articles themselves and are hiding somewhere in this very studio.

Amy was now starting to get scared. Not only was Breezie perfectly piecing together what had just happened, but she sounded incredibly close by...

Breezie: And the only place they could hide in a studio like this would be... IN ONE OF THESE CHANGING BOOTHS!

Amy momentarily froze as the curtain suddenly flew open and came face to face with the intimidating Breezie, who smiled with pride, as she laid her eyes on the smaller hedgehog who was indeed wearing the articles that Honey claimed to have been working on.

Amy's been caught! What should she do now?
