Chapter 2
by Master-V
Who's story do we follow? Who shall stand up to the forces of evil?
Herja, a commoner of the human realm
The sun slowly rises over the mountains as night slowly gives way to the day within the human realm. Of course that was only a nickname given to the area of Manna-Heim where humans lived by the other races. Truth was the human realm was one large kingdom that spanned the continent with serval small villages scattered about the land.
Herja, our dear heroine, lives in one such village far away from the Amber city, the capital of the kingdom. Living all her life in a village known as Ash-Wood. Named after the ash colored trees that filled the forest. Their wood was especially dense, making them valuable for use in carpentry. Of course that also made them all the harder to chop down as well.
So her village was unable to chop down many trees to sell. The muscular men that had spent most, if not all, their lives here struggled to chop down fifty trees per year. So the town was rather impoverished despite its large amount of resources at it's disposal. Still everyone got along well enough.
No one starved. Though no one ate particularly well either. Certainty not Herja. Her family had struggled to make ends meat just about all her life. Even after you took a job as.....
Where do you work?
