Alice had been afraid of Principal Clark calling her stepmom, but instead she dialed Stacey’s number. Stacey had added her number as a primary contact number and answered immediately. The phone was on speaker as Stacey said. “Hello?”
“This is Principal Clark. I’m calling about Alice,” Principal Clark said.
“Did she have another accident?”
Alice’s ears burned at the embarrassing question. Alice looked around and the people outside the office giggled at the question. “No, not this time,” Principal Clark said. “Actually right now she’s in my office naked.”
“Naked? Why is she naked?” Stacey asked a smile on her face.
“I don’t know she was streaking down the halls and on stage so I brought her into my office. She faces the risk of disciplinary action, but I wanted to give you the opportunity to punish her instead,” Principal Clark said.
“I’d be happy to. Just give me 5 minutes and I’ll be right over,” Stacey said.
Principal Clark hung up the phone and turned to Alice who was more nervous about what Stacey had planned.
