Her socks, shoes, and skirt

Grace bit her lip as feelings of helplessness flooded her brain. She crouched down and began taking off her black flats. The shining shoes were unbuckled and slipped off. She began tugging off her white socks nervously.

She began removing her grey skirt, tears beginning to fall from her eyes. Grace looked at the teacher desperately hoping for this to be enough.

Mr. Martinez motioned for her to keep going.
