Brooke ran into the house covering her crotch only to find her mom sitting on the couch. The sight of Brooke running in bottomless was surprising and Melinda looked taken aback. “Brooke? Where are your pants?”

Brooke gulped unsure of how to answer. “T-there was an incident at school…” Brooke said.

“Incident?” Melinda asked. “Again?”

“No not like that!” Brooke cried. “I…this girl she t-took my pants.”

Melinda’s back straightened. “You let a random girl take your pants? And your underpants?”

Brooke slowly nodded. “Y-yeah.”

“So if I call the school, they’ll back your word up?” Melinda asked.

“N-no…” Brooke said. “They… they don’t know.”

“You didn’t report the girl?” Melinda asked.

“No…” Brooke said. “I was trying to preserve my dignity.”

Melinda’s eyes narrowed. “So this girl took your pants and then you ran home like that?”
