Felicity finds herself nervously scanning the houses down her street, convinced one of the neighbours will see her walking home with some older man, and no doubt ask her parents about it. But beside her he simply walks along confidently, as if this were the most normal thing in the world.
She’s shocked when he steps ahead of her and turns into her own driveway without her even needing to point out this is her home.
Spotting the surprised look on her face as he glances her way he laughs “oh I know where you live young lady, I always do my research.” All she can do is nod, wondering what else he might already know then as they make their way to the front door, her hands shaking with nerves and excitement as she brings her key to the lock to let them in.
As soon as they are inside, he doesn’t even hesitate in making his ways to the stairs, “I assume your room is upstairs” but before she can even reply he is already striding up them and she rushes to catch up.
“My rooms on the top floor” she lets him know as they reach the first landing. He pauses, allowing her to take the lead as the ascend the next flight of stairs, Felecity very aware of how close behind her he is again as they reach the top landing, leading him towards her bedroom.
“It might be a bit of a mess” she manages to say before opening the door and stepping inside. He is right behind her, chuckling as he glances around, seeing her dress from last night draped over the back of a chair.
“Oh it’s very much as I expected your room to look Flis. Besides, there are other things I want to see that will distract me from how your room looks.”
Feeling a little braver now they are here she turns to him, loving how his eyes seem to be roaming over her as she stands in the middle of the room. “Oh yes, and what would those things be Sir?”
“Well, why don’t we start with…”
