Chapter 11
by Hvast
What more to discuss?
Her future
"So, what do you think about me, now, Amazon?" You say as soon as you arrive to the relaxing calmness of your tent. No one will bother you there even if most of your tribe would love to see what you do next with the woman "Do you still think I am an animal?"
"I was afraid and angry at myself for being captured" Sheila answers. You have a feeling that she wants to wipe herself clean but is worried that removing your marks may be insulting for you. "It was a stupid thing to say and I am sorry. "
"There are nothing new in this. My kind is treated like pests but nearly all other races. I must admit we do create some problems and I would lie if I'd say that majority of my subjects are fully intelligent beings but..." You remember your days away from the tribe. Your education abroad wasn't a pleasant experience as you had way more enemies than friends "But we have feelings and you were that" you make a matching gesture with your finger "close to facing very unpleasant fate. I hope you don't repeat the mistake during your stay there"
"My stay?" You hear huge disappointment, looks like she expected to get freedom here and now but you have different plans. After all you still want this beautiful woman and should you send her away, you may never see her again.
"I can't let you go. You have seen too much. Even a mere fact that you know that this tribe is led by a competent leader is a useful information." You say softly "You will be treated with respect but I can't let you go yet. What I need to know. What will your tribe do, should I send a messenger?"
"They'll kill him from ambush" Sheila says confidently "Neither of us know Goblin language, so interrogation is pointless"
"This is much unfortunate. What if the messenger will be an unarmed female wearing a dress? " It may be the good first real job for your younger sister. She is a smart lass and can be a great asset for your rule. Even if you are slightly uncomfortable risking her life like that, there are no other suitable candidates for the job
"I think they'll be curious enough to not kill her on the spot... But then her fate depends on what will she say" Sheila pauses as if she carefully chooses next words "Our chief is temperamental and tend to act fast when something go wrong"
"She will say your sisters that their scout, Sheila, is captured, treated well and if they want her alive they'll not send any more spies or do any other hostile acts"
"They'll try to rescue me whatever the cost" Amazon says confidently "They'll assume that I am enslaved and **** every day and this is worse than ****. You better let me go. I'll do anything I can to prevent any kind of war between our people"
Do you change your decision or let Sheila go?
