The concept of a teenager changing his own thirty-something mother's diapers might have seemed strange, but neither Carl nor Lori was uncomfortable with it.

As a matter of fact, Carl enjoyed changing Lori; it was a way for them to bond and stay close to each other. Aside from that, she had changed his own diapers many times a day after he was born, so he felt this would be his way of returning the favor, even though it was somewhat a favor that did not need to be returned.

Sometimes, they even took advantage of Lori's dependency on diapers and had some fun with it.
