Chapter 15 by Uno1Dos2Tres3 Uno1Dos2Tres3

What do you do?

Help them with the coffee

Luckily the coffee machine wasn't broken. Jess had just forgotten to put the thingamajig into the thingamabob - easy to do when you've never made coffee on our fancy coffee machine - so, crisis averted.

There was something different though in that kitchen. Jess and Tina were talking. To each other. Not fighting. Talking.

Luckily I wasn't drunk enough to say something stupid and potentially ruin everything. Tina had reheated the breakfast lasagna and, after we had cleaned up the mess from the coffee pot disaster, we all sat at the kitchen table and ate. It was quite pleasant. They told me about how Jess was teaching Tina how to ski - something she learned from me, by the way - and I did my best to follow along with the conversation and eat while my cock was drilling a hole through the underside of the table.

Did I mention what they were wearing? You guessed it, something tiny and sexy.

Jess wore what can only be described as a black crop tube top with long sleeves. The sleeves hung off her shoulders and the whole thing seemed like it might slip off with a gentle sneeze. Below, she had a high-wasted mini skirt in the same knit material and color.

Tina wore wore an off-white, form-fitting mini dress made of thin, knit fabric and a deep, plunging V-neckline that extended down the front. It was very similar to the other various "dresses" she and Tina had worn except this one was sleeveless.

For the first time in the past few days, we were actually having genuine, light-hearted fun and all I could think about was keeping my erection from blasting me off to the moon. It was ****. But I couldn't leave them now.

After breakfast we all sat around the coffee table and drank and worked on the puzzle. With Jess' help, we knocked it out in the next hour and a half.

"There!" Jess said. "Would you like to do the honors of the last piece?" She extended the final jigsaw to me.

"I think we should let our new guest do it."

Tina pretended to struggle with putting the piece in the puzzle then raised her hands with a loud "Wooh!" when it slid into place. "Should we do another one?" she asked.

"I need a break," I said.

"Me too," Jess said. "I'm going to go upstairs to... relax." She looked at Tina with that look again - the one I never could turn down. "Do you want to relax with me?"

Tina felt bad that they were obviously leaving to get it on but I assured them that I needed to do some shoveling anyway.

"Get as much rest as you need," I told them. "From the sounds of it, you have a lot of rest you need to catch up on."

Fuck, why? Every time.

They didn't seem to mind my comment as they quickly scurried upstairs and I bundled up and headed outside to shovel off the pathway to the front door.

I probably should have shoveled the walkways in shifts, like I did the driveway, to keep the snow from piling up too high, but I was going to be in the cabin for another week and had the time on my hands to clear it out a little bit at a time. Plus, there was something calming and therapeutic about shoveling snow, especially among the roller coaster ride that had been the last few days. Slowly, I began chipping away, making some steady progress down the lengthy path. I stopped every ten minutes or so to take a breather and just gaze around at the beautiful landscape that surrounded our house. The air was dense, almost foggy, and it was difficult to see too far but the snow covered trees provided a beautiful aesthetic. There were deer tracks imprinted into the snow which made me think of Bambi stumbling around on that winter day.

Suddenly, I heard the crunch of footsteps. I turned around to find Tina walking toward me. She was wearing the same snow outfit she wore when she first arrived plus a light blue winter hat and she was carrying a shovel she must have grabbed from the garage.

"Hey! You don't have to-" I cut myself off when I saw Tina's face more clearly. She was upset. She wiped her cheek and, without saying a word, began shoveling snow from the walkway. For a second, I just watched her, unsure of what to say or do.

Does she want to talk? I think if she wanted to talk she would have said something to me. Maybe she wants me to say something to her?

I decided to let her - and myself - think for a bit. For about ten minutes, the only sound outside was the scraping of the shovels on the concrete pavers. Eventually, my shoulders and arms started to burn so I stuck the shovel into the snow and sat down. Tina was so focused on shoveling, she didn't even notice until she bumped right into me.

"Oh, sorry," she apologized. "I didn't see you there."

"No worries. I'm just taking a break. You should take one too."

She thought for a moment then, after a big sigh, planted her shovel next to mine and sat on the pathway beside me.

"I don't want to pry but..." I began. "It just seemed like everything was going so well this morning and then..."

"I told her," Tina said. "About last night. About what we did last night - what I did last night. I just wanted to be honest and up front with her. I didn't want to keep any secrets. I tried to explain to her that it obviously didn't mean anything. It's not like I'm attracted to guys now or anything. I really was just curious and my mind was all mixed up. Ugh, this week has been so confusing."

"I'm sorry," I said. "I shouldn't have let you... uh... do that."

"It's not your fault."

"I'm sure Jessica doesn't agree with you."

"She isn't too happy with you," Tina said, wiping a trickling tear from her cheek.

"Well, I guess we're both in the doghouse then."

There a was long moment of silence as we both stared off into the distance, trying to make sense of everything that had happened these past few days.

"She'll come around," I finally said, though I wasn't sure I believed my own words. If it didn't snow anymore, there was a good chance the roads would be cleared enough for the two of them to leave tomorrow. Jess could certainly hold a grudge for that long and it'd be hard to blame her for doing so.

Another long moment of silence passed as a million thoughts ran through my head, not all of them appropriate I must admit.

"I'm going to head inside," I said after realizing there was no way I was going to come up with anything useful to say while sitting out there in the cold. We both went inside and shed our clothes. For the first time since they arrived, Tina was modestly covered up. She still somehow looked stunning in long thermal undergarments as, while they were long and covered her body, they clung tight to it, showing off every incredible curve. I took a shower then sat on my bed, trying my best to gather my thoughts.

I felt terrible. I shouldn't have let it happen.

But I was so horny. And she was so hot. And it was her idea. It's not like I **** her, or even asked her for that matter, to do it.

But I still shouldn't have let it happen. It was as much my fault as it was hers and it would really suck if I was part of the reason Tina and Jess ultimately broke up. They seemed so perfect for each other, even in just the few small windows of the week where they weren't arguing. They just seemed to keep getting in each others' way, and in their own way.

Finally, my stomach began to growl and I had **** but to head downstairs. I found Tina on the couch with a new puzzle and an open bottle of wine - no wine glass. She was no longer wearing her long, thermal clothes. Instead she was wearing yet another sports bra-esque crop top with a scooping neckline. That I was almost used to at this point. What I wasn't used to was the fact that she wasn't wearing shorts, or a skirt. Just a thong. I didn't notice it at first as she had a blanket covering her legs but, after I got the fire going, I grabbed a bottle of wine for myself from the kitchen and, when I got back to the living room, Tina had slid the blanket aside and sat down on the floor.

"Ocean, huh?" I said as I settled in. "This one is going to be a bit more tricky. Cheers." I extended my bottle of wine to Tina who tapped the neck of hers to the neck of mine then we both took a sip.

"To mistakes," Tina said. I nearly spit out my sip of wine.

"You've been here less than 48 hours and you're already deep into drinking and puzzles," I joked.

"Well, like you said, there's not much else to do."

I reheated some of the leftover food we had then both of us came to the realization that one of us should let Jess know that we had food.

"Rock, paper, scissors?" Tina said with a smirk.

"No," I declined. "I'll go. But first..." I took a big gulp of wine then ascended the stairs to Jess' room.

Knock knock

No answer.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

Still no answer.

I turned the door handle then pushed the door open a crack. Through the space between the door and the frame I could see Jess turn over and pull the covers up. She hadn't been sleeping but she was pretending to be at the moment.

"I know you're not sleeping," I said. "I heated up the leftover pork and some other stuff if you're hungry at all."

No answer.

"We'd love to have you down."

"I'm sure you'll find something to do without me."

That stung. It stung because it was fair.

Do you talk to Jess or let her be?
