"May I call you Hayley?" asked Dr. Drake.

"Certainly."

"Hayley, I want to try something with you. It will help you relax and let us have an easygoing chat."

"Sounds good. What do I need to do?"

"I want you to close your eyes and count backwards from a hundred. I'm going to talk to you, but just keep counting down to zero. Not sit in a relaxed position and close your eyes."
