Hmm. I looked at my list. No substitutes would be allowed. I would need good quality too. “You don’t have any other milk?”

“Milk is milk? What does it matter?” the lady asked.

“Hmm, I’ll give ya a silver to let me look at the rest of your stock.”

Her eyes perked up. “Okay, silver first.”

I smiled and handed her the coin.

Ooo, the back had a much better selection. I am guessing it was more fresh and they just slowly rotated it out. Hmm, but I still needed the best of this type of quality.

“I got a customer, so don’t you do nothing fishy,” the lady said while walking away.

“Got it,” I said.

“Whatcha doing back here?” a man said.

Oh dear. “The shop keeper let me-”

“My wife knows better than to do that,” he said grabbing a club.

Natalia summoned her tonfa and slammed him on the head. He dropped like a stone.

“Natalia!” Sofia shouted. “Bad.”

“Huh? But he was meaning meanie to Boss Rosemary?”

“Yes, that is technically true, but we don’t strike people for-”

“Hey, what did you do to my husband!”

I pulled out some of my earth magic powder. “Sleepy stun.”

She fell to her knees. “Sorry about this. Here. A gold coin. Hope that covers the possible losses,” I said before turning to the girls. “Time to go.”

“I agree,” Sofia said as we began walking away.

Once we were near our hotel room Natalia paused as a butterfly landed on her nose. “Heh, pretty.”

“Was she also so… ”

“I never seen her act like this outside of the castle,” Sofia mentioned. “You mentioned she got hit with that potion on the way to town. It’s that right?”

“Yeah,” I said. I guess the charm gave Natalia a sense of direction that made it easier for her to hold her attention span together. “Come on Natalia, we gotta get back.”

“Right Boss!”

Well, with any luck we would get back to the castle tomorrow and get her under control. I set down all the supplies once we got back inside. The final brew of the trip. Never done a brew like this before. I double checked the notes.

And with it brew nearly complete, I mixed in the divinity. Well, the glass is still valuable given how much divinity it held. It sparkled a bit.

“You ready my Lady?” I asked.

“Yes,” she said nodding.

“Is there enough for me to drink too?” Elise asked.

I shook my head. “No. She needs to drink it all. I’m out of divinity.”

“Elise, you got the divine cream you asked for.” Sofia added.

“I know! Worth it, but hey, if it was gonna go to waste, I was just checking.”

The Lady began drinking. Slowly at first but faster and faster until she finished ever drop. “Wow that was… my body feels… fuzzy.”

“Indeed. That is what the instructions say you should be feeling. Oh right, it said it is safe to take something to relax. I have a few relaxation positions.”

I turned to pick one up but noticed there were only two sitting on the table. Hmm. Well, no matter I guess.

“You want one?” I asked.
