Hell personified

Drip, drip, drip, drip, drip again and again it sounded as your own blood fell down your body onto the soil. You looked up to see your reflection smiling sadistically as he laid against a withered grey tree. “Oh how the mighty have fallen look at you what even are you Nathan? Huh?” Your reflection said as he stood up walking over to you. Your hands and feet were bound shackles and chains much in the way your reflection was within your own body. Your head facing the ground as you tried to stay conscious.

“Your family don’t trust you why else would you be here? What if your failed hmm? Harmony would leave you just like that like the failure you are and what of the school the teachers they are all liars they don’t care if you live or die. Finally we have the headmaster I bet he is waiting just waiting for you to die I mean what better way to rid the world of the son of Ambrose BlackThorn then by enrolling him in the academy and then he died by an accident.” Your reflection said aloud as he circled you like a shark moving in for the kill.

You felt a kick to your ribs as a cold shoe met connected with your body. “Look at you so pitiful and powerless your bastard of a relative was right to leave you here to die.” Your reflection said as he kicked you in the head. You flipped over in pain your hands trying to stop the bleeding from your head. “Your pathetic Nathan so why don’t you give in embrace your sorrow, your pain, let the suffering end, I can make it all right I can make it all go away all you have to do is take me hand.” Your reflection said as he stretched his hand out to you.

“You can go to hell.” You snarled between gasps of pain. Your reflection only chuckled walking closer and closer to you as you tried to crawl away from him however it proved futile as he turned you over and began beating you. You could feel the blows dragging you into unconsciousness as the darkness seemed to close in. “No no no we can’t have you falling asleep now can we?” Your reflection said as he stood you up and pinned you against a grey withered tree.

“This is gonna be fun not for you of course but they all break in the end, they always do its only a matter *punch* of *punch* how *punch* much *punch* pain *punch* they can take.” Your reflection said as he threw punches against your body. As the darkness began to encroach on you once again you could see a single crow perched on a tree behind your reflection watching you almost in awe.

You could have sworn the crow looked familiar. Like you had seen it before you thought to yourself as you fell face word into tue ground darkness taking you.
