Helen suggests they find someone she can possess

"Ugh, fine," Helen sighed, floating away a little. "I suppose I could find someone else to posses. Why don't we go into town so I can scout out potential targets? I'll get to try flying around without anyone seeing me too!"

"Sounds like a plan," Adam said relieved Helen wasn't going to possess him. "Just promise me you won't do anything reckless!"

"I'll try my best!" Helen laughed as she passed through the wall.

"Could you please just pick someone," Adam hissed. He was beginning to lose his temper and was feeling increasingly foolish meandering around town. Adam had spent the last half an hour pretending to speak into his phone as a cover for responding to Helen as he tried to follow her around. They had tried the high street and shopping mall, but it was difficult for them to communicate effectively. They then moved to the quieter streets surrounding the local park where they could talk more easily. Helen gave Adam a running commentary of her thoughts on the viability of potential targets and had apparently not found anyone suitable. Adam was at the point of leaving Helen to it.

"Okay, okay!" Helen said hovering a few inches from Adam's side. "I'll possess the next person I see that looks reasonable." No sooner had Helen spoken, a young red-headed woman jogged past them. "Oh, she'll do nicely! What do you think Adam?"

Adam stayed silent. His expression blank and unblinking.

"No way!" Helen gasped. "That's your ex-girlfriend, Natalie right?"

Adam nodded.

"Well I'm definitely possessing her now?" Helen raced off after her, quickly catching up. The ghostly girl plunged into Natalie's back and disappeared. The redhead skidded to a halt, her head slumping to her chest. Adam watched in horror as his ex-girlfriend seemed to come out of her brief daze and begin to examine herself. After a few moments of exploring her body with her hands, 'Natalie' jogged over to him with a beaming smile.

"Adam!" 'Natalie' said in mock surprise. "Fancy seeing you here. How are you?"

"I'm fine, thank you Natalie." Adam replied dryly. He was half playing along with Helen's game and half worried the real Natalie was aware of what was happening. Surely Helen wouldn't do anything stupid if that was the case?
