Helen and Adam, rushing home

Helen and Adam rushed out of the pub together and made their way home as quickly as possible. Fortunately they only lived a short distance away, and hoped they would catch the culprit in their house. Helen had forgotten that she was still in Zoe's body, and had left the pub patrons very confused. Adam dashed on ahead and reached their front door first. He hurriedly withdrew his keys and had opened the door by the time Helen had caught up in Zoe's body.

The couple burst into their home, their breathing ragged from the run and the panic of who or what they might find. They both immediately made their way upstairs as that was where they had left the spellbook and Helen's body. Their feet thudded up the stairs and across the landing, before they both skidded to a halt at the doorway to the office.

Adam and Helen's eyes widened in surprise as they came face to face with whoever was currently possessing Helen's body. The possessed Helen smiled at the two of them, the spellbook open across her lap.

"Hello Adam," the person possessing Helen said cheerily. "And Zoe! Nice of you to both rush over here so quickly."

"Who the fuck are you?" Adam shouted, stepping closer to the person that controlled his girlfriend's body.

"Mum?" the real Helen gasped. She had spotted her mother's body slumped in the corner of the room and put two and two together.

"Susannah?" Adam added, confused. "How did you-"

"I have emergency keys to your house, love," Susannah explained. "I let myself in after ringing the doorbell quite a few times. I was worried something might have happened to you two as we were supposed to be having lunch together."

"But how did you get in Helen's body?" Adam asked, still baffled by the situation.

"The same way Helen got into Zoe's, I imagine! You left the book open and it may surprise you, but I can read."

Adam went a little red at being chastised by Susannah so thoroughly. It was especially odd hearing her serious tone coming from Helen's lips. "This is so weird," he said quietly to himself.

"Maybe that's because you're the only one of us to be in their own body?" Helen said half jokingly.

"What?" Adam spluttered in surprise. "How would that make things any more normal?"

"I don't know. It might make you feel less left out though."

"Why don't you give the spell a go, Adam?" Susannah added, agreeing with her daughter. "You can possess my body if you want?"

Adam's heart rate began to quicken as he considered this offer. He looked down at Susannah's body, still propped up against the wall, motionless. He had to admit the thought of possessing the body of the sexy mother of his girlfriend excited him greatly.

"Come on Adam," Helen prompted. She slapped her boyfriend playfully on the back. "Why don't you give it a go?"
