Rounding the corner Samora and Monique see two hulking Rapi, likely some sort of ape species that was infected. along with the two hulks there are a few humanoid rapi that turn to the two girls and aim thier tentacles firing off a few shots of thier slime "shit" Monique yells ducking and running to behind a pillar. the wall had been designed to be held even if it was over run with rapi, as such there were defendable areas on its surface. Samora manages to get behind her own cover before a glob of the slime streaks pass splatting across the ground where she had stood.

"Monique you worry about the brutes, I will cover you" Samora yells readying her rifle.
