Heard his mother call out to him

"Hey, sweetie! Breakfast's ready, come down quick or I'll feed Shale your bacon!" Lucas's mother called, followed by the quiet "Woop!" resonating from the hungry Sneasel.

Responding in turn, Lucas shouted back a muffled "Coming!" As he hurried down the stairs. He was not about to give what may very well be his last breakfast made by his mom for a long while to the smug household cat/sex toy hybrid.

Rounding the corner of the enclosed stairwell, Lucas was greeted by a wonderfully crafted breakfast, complete with eggs, bacon, and the best part of all, his mother's homemade French Toast.

Pulling out a chair and settling down, Lucas looked up at his mother, feeling a wave of childhood nostalgia and a slight pang of sadness as he gazed up at her beautiful smile. Reminiscing, Lucas thought back upon all the times from his childhood where that wonderful smile was what drove him to move forwards, to do better.

That motivation would never leave him, though being farther away from its source was sure to have an adjustment period. Shaking the negative thoughts from his head, and focusing on the masterfully crafted breakfast before him, Lucas finished not long after, feeling satisfied and stuffed from his wonderful meal.

Sitting back in his chair, he turned his attention to his mother as she spoke, "Say, honey, what Pokemon do you plan on going for first? I wouldn't be surprised if you went for a more, human-like one, like dear Shale here, considering what I've seen of your, tastes, over the years~"

Annoyed and more than slightly embarrased at the accuracy of his mother's claims, especially the one about the sexy Sneasel who was cureently giggling to herself over his clearly flushed face, Lucas thought for a moment about what Pokemon he actually did want to try and catch first.
