Chapter 27 by MrLarsBar MrLarsBar

Go out or wait?

Hear people

"But no gown," Aaron noted to himself. "Those women probably made me walk in here without my gown on purpose."

He put his hand on the doorknob but stopped when he heard voices outside. Not nurses or doctors by the sound of it. He pressed his ear to the door, listening in.

"Yes, I hope we are not interrupting," said a kind voice. It was a woman's, slightly-pitched but firm. "Detective Kasinsky. GCPD. I'm sure you were told of our investigation."

"Yes, yes." Dr. Thompkins waved off. "I've already met Detectives Mac and McKenna. Actually," she chuckled, "me and Detective Mac have known each other for a while. She was something of a local hero in my old neighbourhood. In other words, a troublemaker needing to be patched up. Isn't that right, Josie?"

"It's good to see you again, doctor," Detective Mac replied, a clear sense of joy in her voice. "It's been too long."

"Please. You could have visited anytime, Josie, what with you being a detective and all."

There was a laugh. A chance for Aaron to think things over. To analyze the situation.

"We are here for Aaron Reiner's statement," said a new woman, muffled. She must have been close to the entrance. "Is he here?"

"No," Dr. Sayer replied. But–"

"I have a question then," the woman interrupted. "How is he? Personality-wise? In your professional opinion, is he normal?"

"Detective McKenna," the first woman, the first voice, Detective Kasinsky, called her name out with a feverish tone. "Don't be so hasty."

"He's our twenty-fourth witness and so far we've come up with nothing. Might as well go blunt," Detective McKenna responded, uncaring. The other detectives sighed.

'My testimony, huh?' Aaron was relieved. So he wasn't a suspect.

Moreover, they were all women by the sound of it.

A deliberate choice by the GCPD and likely the correct one given the sexual nature of the case. In all likelihood, male cops would either be insensitive about certain testimonies or potentially do something weird. The statistics were unfortunate but it was reality, especially in Gotham where corrupt cops ran rampant.

"He's great. Quiet and composed but great," Dr. Thompkins said. "He didn't look like he was hiding anything either. So relatively normal."

"And you've worked as a professional for thirty five years now?" Detective Bartlett asked sharply.

"Over half my life, yes," the doctor replied. "It can be good money but also good for the people."

"I see. Thank you for your service, Doctor. May god bless your soul," Detective Bartlett said. Aaron raised a brow. A stout Catholic, was she? Interesting for a detective whose job was to be skeptical.

Aaron sighed and looked over himself. He was flaccid and he was in-shape. Nothing to be ashamed about in all honesty. In fact, most men in his position would be dropping their pants at the drop of the hat.

But Aaron disliked unnecessary attention. He only decided to leave the bathroom because it would be awkward to stay in for too long.

So he left the bathroom with the cup in hand. He acted the part of an innocent party as he stepped out, cock and balls slapping, and saying, "Oh. Hi."

All eight pairs of eyes snapped down. The doctors and nurses were acquainted but the detectives were not.

What's the reaction to Gotham's biggest cock?
