Healing of the Ancient Forest
A rather unusual request has come to the Sisters of the Dawn, Eirlys' healing order. An ancient forest in Arathia, renowned for its towering and majestic trees that had stood for centuries was now under a dark curse that was slowly causing its once lush foliage to wither and die. The plea for aid came from the forest itself, specifically the dryads, who were the guardians of the forest and rarely ventured beyond its borders. They claim a powerful sorceress put a curse on their trees, but for what cause remains unknown.
The forest predates the kingdoms of Arathia and even with the help of the dryads, danger and mystery lurks around every corner. There are the usual threats of giant spiders, bears, and living trees, but perhaps there might be even more ancient and powerful beings lurking in the shadows. Little is known about the dryads and even less about the sorceress who cursed the forest.
