Head up to Kate and Ilyana's room, hoping they're there to let you in

Tired from the trip (and admittedly titillated at the prospect of cohabitating with two beautiful girls), John headed back up to Room 316 and knocked on the door. Ilyana let him in.

"It isn't much, but we'll make it work," she said, gesturing at the small quarters.

The room was nicely furnished, and even included a small balcony, but it wasn't at all spacious. It barely managed to contain two single beds, a cabinet with TV, one dresser, a couple of floor lamps, and a chair. Kate was busily brushing her teeth in the tiny ensuite bathroom. She looked different somehow. He wasn't sure why at first, but then he realized she was wearing make-up. It was barely noticeable---just a little bit on her lips and around her eyes---but it looked nice. He didn't think he'd ever seen Kate wear make-up before.

Both girls had already unpacked, but neither bed seemed to have been claimed yet. He grabbed his suitcase and paused to consider the possible sleeping arrangements.
